Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema has banned a large pro-Israel protest that was planned for Thursday night at the Dutch capital’s central Dam Square. Halsema’s spokesperson says the mayor can’t guarantee public safety.

But dey can guarantee pro-hamas riot 😐

BH has ransacked security bases in the past, JFK was assassinated despite the presence of security, Trump was nearly killed despite the heavy presence of security details. A determined enemy will go to any length to achieve his/her objective and bear the consequences afterwards. So, spare me the police station argument
If you are an ardent student of historical and contemporary global sociopolitics, you'd have realized all three cases of BH, JFK, and Trump have all been exposed to be DELIBERATE security lapses with machinations from top echelons of the government or shadow governments. ALL.

The premise of the argument isn't about who sponsored the hits but about whether the presence of police station can prevent an act of sabotage. The person I responded to said that the presence of police station makes my claim of sabotage laughable.
Stick to the argument don't deviate as you rightly advised on numerous occasions

That's the point: Sabotage happening right under the noses of the police is only possible because of police complicity.

BH attacks keep happening sporadically and unchecked like Carter Efe's spittle while talking, in spite of the heavy military presence in the North. We've found that those attacks are deliberately allowed to happen by elements within the Military who also give Intel to BH.

JFK's assassination was premeditated by the higher echelons of the CIA and Secret Service. Even this year, RFK Jnr mentioned names and dared them to sue him, but they haven't.

Trump assassination attempt was allowed to happen. The Secret Service boss who was axed later admitted the SS knew about the shooter, knew he was odd and off yet they cleared him.

The bunkering of oil installations in Nigeria has Nigeria's whole security apparatus complicit. Even Wike, his brashness regardless, caught some NSCDC bosses on camera who were aiding it. Everyone from the Niger Delta knows the Navy and the Army have cookies of bunkered oil and smuggled goods.

The sabotage you are referring to, in spite of the police station within the vicinity, only happened because the police is complicit; or higher-ups who can dictate police actions and inactions.
This, Amoto, is the point.

One would wonder what exactly did Hezbollah gain for their busy involvement in the fight sef? 🤷‍♂️

They had their foot soldiers' scrotum sack blown off, their top leaders eliminated and their stockpile of weapons depleted to an extent. All for what?

Just a quick reminder that Niger Delta Governors have been presenting their 2025 budgets for weeks now 'quietly'.

Akwa Ibom presented #955 billion today.

Delta presented #932 billion two weeks ago and was upgraded to #976 billion this week without fanfare.

Rivers would present before the end of the month or by the beginning of December.

Notice how your favourite influencers for hire are not discussing it, and the states' executives and legislature are all chummies now with budgeted monies about to go Houdini?

Each state with a budget of almost #1 trillion. Are you asking questions now? Are you digging into what the allocations for education and roads are? Are you concerned about the overhead costs which is a huge drain on our common patrimony?

Notice how it's all hush hush from these guys? These are the real enemies truncating our developments even at state levels. Please go ask questions now. Get your influencer buddies who still care about not only their pockets to ask questions.
I'm worried about the budget breakdowns for overhead cost.

Ask questions now or all our "oyel money" would fund the luxury lifestyles of BBN girls.
It's more than just Tinubu.

Kazakhstan is not in Russia.

Kazakhstan, a Central Asian country and former Soviet republic, extends from the Caspian Sea in the west to the Altai Mountains at its eastern border with China and Russia. Its largest metropolis, Almaty, is a long-standing trading hub whose landmarks include Ascension Cathedral, a tsarist-era Russian Orthodox church, and the Central State Museum of Kazakhstan, displaying thousands of Kazakh artifacts.
Even if you can't be bothered to read you should at least remember Kazakhstan from Borat.

Stop swallowing everything you see on twitter.

This is someone who is too lazy to identify Kazakhstan as an independent country.

Meanwhile his refinery has been rendered redundant by the fact that Russian oil is significantly cheaper. He cannot add enough value to Bonny light to undercut the price of Russian oil. Ukraine war fücked up his whole Business case for the refinery

PRESS RELEASE

NNPC Ltd Reaffirms Progress on Port Harcourt Refinery and Addresses Misleading Claims

The Board and Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) express heartfelt appreciation to Nigerians for their support and excitement over the safe and successful restart of the 60,000 barrels-per-day Old Port Harcourt Refinery. This achievement marks a significant step forward after years of operational challenges and underperformance.

We are, however, aware of unfounded claims by certain individuals suggesting that the refinery is not producing products. For clarity, the Old Port Harcourt Refinery is currently operating at 70% of its installed capacity, with plans to ramp up to 90%. The refinery is producing the following daily outputs:
• Straight-Run Gasoline (Naphtha): Blended into 1.4 million liters of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS or petrol)
• Kerosene: 900,000 liters
• Automotive Gas Oil (AGO or Diesel): 1.5 million liters
• Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO): 2.1 million liters
• Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG): Additional volumes

It is worth noting that the refinery incorporates crack C5, a blending component from our sister company, Indorama Petrochemicals (formerly Eleme Petrochemicals), to produce gasoline that meets required specifications. Blending is a standard practice in refineries globally, as no single unit can produce gasoline that fully complies with any country’s standards without such processes.

Additionally, we have made substantial progress on the new Port Harcourt Refinery, which will begin operations soon without prior announcements.

We urge Nigerians to focus on the remarkable achievements being realized under the able and progressive leadership of President Bola Tinubu, GCFR, and to support efforts aimed at delivering more dividends to the nation. Malicious attacks on clear progress only undermine the significant strides made by NNPC Ltd. and the country.

Let us move forward together in building a stronger and more self-sufficient energy sector.

Kazakhstan may be refining Russian crude just like Malta and India

Presently Urals oil is on average $15-$20 cheaper due to sanctions. Dangote cannot provide $15 added value per barrel from his refinery, so it's cheaper to blend Russian oil than buy Dangote oil.

I never will believe the refinery is working, and I am 99% sure they are just blending.

Dangote is fvcked up trying to do real business in a Gangster country. He is being undercut severely, he has no choice but to also blend.

I did a Google search. Kazakhstan has its own crude.

Also, how would the Russian product get to port Harcourt refinery? Does the refinery have a jetty? A vessel is going to bring millions of litres to port Harcourt refinery - where and how would this be discharged?

As far as I can recall, port Harcourt refinery received crude via pipeline (I stand to be corrected on this)

Kazakhstan's main export oil grade is the CPC Blend. CPC Blend is a very light (45.3° API), sweet crude (0.56% sulfur) that is valued for its high yield of gasoline and light distillates.7 Jan 2019
This is what a Google search has to say about Kazakhstan crude. Light sweet low sulphur. But we have an expert saying we will be importing high sulphur gasoline for blending.

In any event every major marketer has their own lab where they test fuel. We will soon find out the reality.

Kazakhstan will still refine Russian crude if they have spare refining capacity just like UAE has been doing.

Okrika jetty will bring in millions of litre no problem, and there is no disconnect between the pipelines from jetty to the refinery. It's only 2 miles of pipeline.

My house in the village is directly opposite the refinery. Admittedly the flame from the refinery is slightly higher than it was 2 months ago but nothing close to what it was when the refinery was fully functional. The flame has never stopped burning by the way even when it was moribund.

What they are doing now is painting the whole outside of the refinery which tells me there's a lamba going on. Nothing suppose concern painting with producing but in our usual Naija way, we would want to put lipstick on a pig to show fake workings.

SR has a completely different story.

Las Las sit back

What I think is happening is same thing that happened with dangote and same thing that happens when there is pressure from major stakeholders - a dog and pony show to try to inspire confidence

Dangote did the same thing months ago when he did his partial commissioning and started with diesel. Buy some time

Likely Tinubu has read someone the riot act and now they have to also present a partially completed project and blow a lot of technical grammer and half truths.

This is NNPC literally admitting they are doing bending as alleged by that Dangote's paid influencer😩

I'm disappointed honestly. I thought the whole Malta blending story by Dangote was hoax and his own way of winning the people to his side with propaganda. Now this 🤦‍♂️

Well, as a common man who has no skin in the game, I will be patiently watching what all of these will translate to as regards pump price of PMS.

Whether Dangote will reduce his price further to compete with NNPC's blended PMS remains to be seen

They actually confirmed Sowores story to the letter

Both Sowore and NNPC are saying the exact same thing (they are producing Naphta in the old refinery of 60,000 barrells per day at reduced capacity and blending), the difference is in the colour of their commentary.
