The person I had was my sister's fiance..but they are now separated... Should I fill in NO and explain as such if the VO asks me?

Hello everyone,

I need your advice regarding a deferral request and my visa process. My visa appointment has been planning on Preapproval request is being processed. for a month now, and my school is resuming on January 13. I’m planning to request a deferral to a later semester.

However, I’ve already uploaded my current I-20 to the visa portal, but I haven’t booked an appointment yet. Should I restart the visa application process by uploading the new I-20 when it’s issued? Also, could you guide me on the steps to successfully request the deferral from the school

Hello guys, please how do I do a SEVIS transfer from one school to another, my interview wasn't successful but I've been admitted into another school for spring 2025 and I'd like to transfer my sevis records so i wouldn't have to pay another sevis fee. Please how do do this? Do I need to contact the previous school to let them know? Ps, I've already gotten my i-20 for the first school, I asked for a deferral which they granted and issued another i-20 for spring but I've decided to accept another school... Please how do I go about it

Hello.

1. You did not state whether you had previous appointment letter on the old portal which indicated you and your 2 kids as visa applicants?

2. If you have the old appointment letter as described above at hand you will not need to pay another visa fee for all of you. Even with your old GTB visa fee receipts, you do also not need to pay another visa fee again.
