Even if NNPC is selling at N100, it won’t affect the demand from Dangote. Nigeria daily demand is between 35-40 million litres/day, PH refinery is only able to produce 1.4-2 million barrels/day. It’s almost nothing really.
Liters not Barrels.

How is he a Shylock?

Men...you guys cannot even see whats playing out right under your nose.

Toh.....this is why they will constantly keep taking Nigerias for a ride. Most of them are too unenlightened to see beyond their noses.

This is standard Dangote MO.

This is what he did with Cement

Is Dangote encouraging regular people/businesses to buy 2m litres of highly flammable PMS? Where wi they store it?

The verbiage on the ad sounds like they are targeting end users rather than the normal middlemen

Nnpcc shouldr release their own at 900, let the competition begin
That is the whole point of this move by Dangote.

It is now a d*ck measuring contest.

How low can you go.

This is Dangote's style. Charge a premium as the sole player in the field. Drive down the price when competition enters to kill off competition.

If NNPC goes lower, Dangote will go even lower.

At this rate, NNPC should just jejely mind their small market and leave Dnagote alone....otherwise....PH will go back to limbo real soon

How many regular people do you know that buy 2 million liters in one trade.

Even if you have 5 filling stations you cannot buy 2 million liters in one go. This is clearly not for small fries

This is what he should have done from the very beginning instead of trying to weave his way with the FG. You sell to major marketers who then retail to smaller distributors. With a projected population of over 500m people I dont see how he will fail.

He should also try selling other products like lubricants, not just petrol and dpk.

Eventhough, the #970 price is still on the high side for Nigerians considering the fact that we're producing the crude on our own soil.

I agree that 2m @ ₦970 is not for small fries....but advertising with a copy that says

"For your Vehicle & Engine..." can suggest that.

Those big fries are not buying 2m "for their vehicle and engine..."
