It wasn't just about selling us weapons. They have the right to sell to whoever they please. But they were actively blocking all efforts by Nigeria to purchase weapons from other countries. Nigeria had to be smuggling cash to buy from black market dealers, hence the large amount of cash seized in South Africa. GEJ was a fool to not have turned to Russia much earlier. It was only when elections was close that he turned to Russia, by then it was too late. Thank God for Russia sha. Boko Haram was capturing local government by local government. Maybe them for don capture like 7 states for Nigeria if Russia didn't come through for us.

You didn't answer my question. America knew there was arms embargo on Nigeria, they came to Nigeria themselves to help the military fight boko haram. Since they knew there was an embargo, why champion the bringbackourgirls campaign to discredit the Jonathan administration when they are the ones who have refused to sell home weapons to fight same terrorists who kidnapped the girls they are campaigning for?

We all cannot support the same thing. This thread is about both sides learning from themselves and sharing news and reports that give us an idea of what's happening on the battlefield.

As for that Gbadebo guy, he is a public nuisance here and almost every other place where he discusses the Israel-Palestine and Russia-Ukraine wars.

He insults people here for no reason and he is racist too and used to call us black monkeys at some point. He has toned it down though after he received some serious dragging here, but even that only happened after he repeatedly crossed his red line.
