Good afternoon guys, pls I just noticed my starlink is showing me no internet connection, don’t know why , Its been a week now last week Sunday . But I was not around , just came home today thinking it will be a minor issue, but I have rebooted like twice now but still tells me no internet connections.
My next payment is due from today but I’m not sure that is the reason why I have lost internet access going to a week and some days now . Pls any one with suggestion or ideas I would be very grateful, waiting keenly for your advise and suggestions guys .

I don't have Starlink. I thought you wanted to ask about any issues with it coz I have seen it on some rooftops here in Ife, too, surprisingly sha.

What's the size of the documents you want to download?

Check your entire connection. Remove the connector that goes into the dishy and insert it back, make sure that the cable is not physically damaged in any way. Do your due diligence. If all else fails, open a support ticket. Let them carry out checks from their own end.

It actually requires partnership with telcos, MTN and Co. The only way our telcos would want this initiative is if it allows those customers in unserved areas to be able to make calls using their airtime once they are connected to the Starlink network.

I feel they intend to partner with local telcos.. So MTN may benefit.

Anyone activate starlink business plan recently in lagos, which service area did you use?

I opened support after several factory reset but still my starlink is telling me no internet access .i have opened support November 25 , to complain after they responded by asking me questions . I have answered all their questions and closed the ticket , I don’t know if I’m to leave the ticket open , or closed . Because right now Nigeria internet is rubbish to me , all the network provider are deliberately making their internet access poor . To force the hand of the government so they can increase their tariff and data prices . It’s a planned affair ,by the telcos. By guys I need your advise I be dropping screenshots to back it up .

Don't close the Ticket. Once they resolve your issue, they will close it

First of all, those questions are automated ones, not by a human.

Starlink support could take up to 24hrs or longer to respond.

You are not suppose to close a ticket, always allow support themselves to close the ticket. Closing a ticket suggests your issue has been resolved. Personally, I never close a support ticket even after my issue may seemingly been resolved.

Reopen the ticket and give more context. They will respond in due time.

It is just for small businesses and enterprises...this is not an Internet service provider like Starlink. Just gadgets, routers, to boost connectivity...

As for the Nigerian ISP thing, I use an Airtel 5g router, and it is unlimited. I am currently on 20MBPS (#20k), which is okay for my needs. If I want a higher MBPS, I have to pay more (Although I feel it is still pricey for that MBPS, it is better than nothing). We don't have fibre broadband widespread in Nigeria yet, and MTN fibre broadband is not available everywhere.

Talking about throttled speed...when you reach that threshold, you will notice a reduction in your speed, not that you won't be able to browse, but it may not reach that 20mbps. There is a thread dedicated to it on this section.

It refers to Business plans, as onboarding on personal plans are currently suspended in Nigeria.

Why are you buying another router when you can easily contact Starlink. They will change the router at no extra cost and switch account for u.. No stress

had to buy a new one locally first it was urgent and my business depends on it. I will contact starlink now and see what can be done still. Thanks

Good morning great minds
Some weeks back I complained of my starlink not giving me internet . Starlink just shipped me another brand new starlink to me as replacement kit . I was told to return the old one but I do not understand this their message ,” Please use the pre-paid return shipping label sent in the original return email to return your defective Starlink hardware. Pls I need more clarification from you guys . I’m aware I need to box all the old equipment , I still have the original Carton of the old starlink intact . Can I drop the old starlink in any nearby DHL,fedEx ?
I will be waiting for your response and guidance guys .
