DomPerignon:
Do you know that prior to Yaradua's intervention and passage of the 13% derivative to oil producing states , all SE states got far much higher as federal allocation than oil producing states in the SS?

Obasanjo proposed 25% to oil producing states but SE legislators in the NASS aligned with the core north to kill the bill while hiding under opposition to Obasanjo's third term agenda.

Have you heard any of their elected officials wade into the VAT issue?

I rest my case.
Are you aware that Nigeria habours over 209 trillion cubic meters of natural gas out of which over 50% is located in Imo State? Do your research well and stop twisting facts

SE aligned with the north to kill 25% oil derivation when SE is an oil producing region?
When will you guys stop this your devilish propaganda against the east?
It is on record that SE delegates has to walk out together with SS delegates before Nigerians accept to pay oil producing states 13% during Abacha constitutional conference.
What is Abacha that approved 13 percent oil derivation. Obasanjo was the chief culprit cos he didn't even want the 13 percent but was proposing less than 10 percent. He fought the governors of some south south like Victor Attah and bayelsea governor then DSP. It was when it became so disturbing that the national assembly settled for the current figure. The governors then clamour for 50 percent as what was due to the affected Northern states during groundnut pyramid.

You just stated the fact, very slippery people and champion of revisionists See how it was captured in this report. As usual, the SW goes againt the Southern interest then years later use the media propaganda to paint the East Black and claim to love the South South
Unbelievable
Very treacherous revisionists.
Very hardworking at it too

Unity Beggar,
I'm not going to go that route with you today. Go and beg for yoonity elsewhere, you rampaging shameless parasite. I no so. Na by force to stay with you in the same country? No data from the South West media or from the federal government controlled agencies on oil production in Nigeria is acceptable to me, since the federal government and the media houses in Lagos, work hand in hand to marginalize the East. Those numbers are obviously cooked! Let's have an independent investigations.

Your much vaunted "Ondo oil"(everyday Ondo oil, Ondo oil, meanwhile you have never seen a single oil well/field before) belongs to the Ijaws that were carved out and lumped into Ondo state by your brothers and friends in the military. Most Igbo speaking parts of Rivers and Delta have huge oil deposits. Infact most of Rivers states oil out from the mainland, come from the Igbo speaking areas. That's why people like you are always here trying to clean Rivers state and Delta State of any semblance of her igboness.
hahaha your tears are delicious 😆😆😆unity begger Indeed, The last time we gave you cursed migrant quit notice to relocate back to your barren land😆 we saw how you flattt heads were running and panicking 😆😆😆why not relocate back to your barren region and let see who the real leeches and parasite are😆😆😆

So ondo is now ijaw land, your pains just Dey start, na God go punish you…shameless pig,cry louder😆😆

You buy air time in other states and pay VAT but that amount is tallied at the headquarters in Lagos and paid to Lagos government

You make bank transactions in your local banks in your state and pay VAT. That money is tallied at the headquarters and paid to Lagos state government

You import goods that are headed to your state, right at the port even before the goods are sold, VAT is charged at the port and paid to Lagos government

You have oil in your state but the oil company headquarter is in Lagos. The pay VAT to Lagos state government

Your business men and all international travelers from your states go to Lagos to buy airline ticket from airline companies in Lagos. They collect VAT and pay to Lagos state government

Your utility companies all have their headquarters in Lagos. Any time your pay your bills, you are paying some as VAT to Lagos government.

Recently CBN operations was moved to Abuja, they fought tooth and nail and brought it back to Lagos, all because of VAT.

Yoruba Media cooking up rubbish to hide the amount of cash being funneled into the South West.

Lagos gets VAT from where? From MTN and GLO whose subscribers are scattered all over the country? Feon banks head offices who customers dwell in order states. Tariffs from tincan ports with over 70% of the containers heading to the East.

How much was given to Osun and Ekiti, and how much of the oil and gas earnings report took care of the crude gotten from slant engineering near Imo borders with Rivers state and Anambra borders with Delta State which has been reported here?
Why didn't imo attract investors that will generate sales across Nigeria and worldwide then Lagos should get paid over 1000% of vat generated by companies based in imo? Imagine Ondo getting 1000% of the vat generated by innoson. It doesn't matter wether the company sold its products across Nigeria or across Africa. What make you feel entitled to higher vat rate than the state where a company is domiciled? Your argument is so stupid because in the 21st century companies can sell across borders.

Do something about it. What are you waiting for, you unity Beggar!? Expunge Imo State from Nigeria. Stop foaming in the mouth with your well cooked data. Take action. Sack the South East from Nigeria.

How much do Lagos collect from the oil and gas earnings? How much have the states of the South West earned from oil and gas? Compare that to whatever the country gets from Oyo and Ekiti states cocoa receipts. How much of your South West revenues end up in the federal purse to be shared across the federation bar Lagos ports remittance?

How much of the earnings from Lagos ports originated from Lagos indigines? How much of the taxes paid in Lagos comes from South westerners?

You want a tight embrace yet you want to define the boundaries. You are alarmingly confused. The people you are moaning about are the ones who want out. They don't want your VAT or allocations or love.

They want out! You are the eternal parasites who want them here, and you're also the one wailing about VAT and all those juggled numbers, and you want me to take you serious?
Naaa
You need to get a grip..

Don't mind the d*mb guy that wants to re-narrate the history when it is obvious that it was the South west that was the real betrayals here. That dude might not be born by 1995 self or should actually be about 1 year but his stup*dity cloned with tribalism wouldn't allow him to go and read and know the history rather, he will prefer to go to the beer parlour where most of their stories are manufactured and pushed out without verification cos of their hate for a particular tribe.
Exactly he may not have been born in 1995 but believed what his illiterate tribalistic ronu father told him.
