Barbiturate:Maybe "insult and curse" comes with the environment he's operating! I might be wrong tho. You can't even call a gardener stupid here... For me, using vulgar words speaks to what is within than what is outside... Sometimes, when we are going tru some personal battle, no matter how we hide it, it shows even in our manners ...I have been there before. ..Reason why I won't respond in like manner ..We can only pray for our enemy as Jesus commanded.. On a lighter mode sha, if I Sabi converse all that English, I con still dey shout "Ketu ojota mile 12 kodu ooo" no be wahala be that. Please, enjoy the rest of your day. Adupe. |

obinoral1179:Lol ![]() When I tell you stupidity is inherent in these fools, it looks like I'm insulting them. I'm not insulting them. They are stupid. A black goat is black. It's just facts. You're gracious to reply the dense fool. I have 100k to make today. Replying them will be an unnecessary distraction. |

Barbiturate:Is the 20m for 800k his submission to an innocent and genuine question that someone asked? No he didn't drop any opinion/contribution, he only countered another person's opinion on the enquiry. Barbi, If u want to be an impartial judge, do it well. |

obinoral1179:To me, mental and emotional maturity means being a goal-oriented individual who understands when business is business and doesn’t let emotions interfere. It’s someone with a well-thought-out plan, not just for the business but also for their personal life. Finding such people is difficult, in my opinion. This perspective comes from both my personal experience and what I’ve observed from others currently in the business. However, during my six years in the industry, I was fortunate to work with one or two truly exceptional individuals. |

dapotemi:Regarding the claim that drivers earn 1.4 million in a month, I cannot confirm if this is consistently true. While we are fortunate to see some drivers' earnings shared on this platform, it doesn't necessarily reflect the general norm. If this is indeed representative of the average driver's monthly income, it would imply that every investor could justifiably demand 120k-140k weekly. However, how many drivers would actually agree to such terms? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 10:48am On Nov 28, 2024 |
dapotemi:Where is Chapel Hill. Drop address. Your talk too long. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 10:59am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Djdamian:The less a driver spends on fueling and maintenance, the more he'll pay you. I've done extensive research into ehailing. I'm not average. |

Djdamian:Traditionally, this is the period when you tend to see screenshots of earnings on this thread and elsewhere. Earnings are usually higher from November till the end of the year. I'm not sure it's representative of even the best driver's monthly income. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 11:08am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Pearl1910:Lmao Chapel Hill does not exist. He can't raise 20 million. If he can raise 20million, he won't be here on this forum. Dapotemi is a stupid person. A very stupid person. He reads without understanding. If I asked an investor not to spend more than 3m on a car, it doesn't mean he shouldn't invest more than 3 million. The guy is as dense as a rock. He keeps shouting 20m to get 800k monthly without realizing that if Mr investor should invest 20m on ehailing, he'll be buying 6 cars which at the rate of 3m each would be 18m. If investor follows what I have outlined because of the less fuel and expense on driver he will get 65k weekly or 260k monthly on each car which totals 1.560 gross a month from 18m. Chapel hill rants are his ignorant rants as usual. This is someone who isn't bright. He got to where he is because people he knows kept pushing him to meet someone else. He can't get anything on merit. He's dull. He's not sharp. If he was a knife, he'd be a dull rubber butter knife, and he still won't be able to cut through butter. Explaining everything on Nairaland as if I'm talking to 6 year olds is cumbersome because of fools like dapotemi. He's only worthy of being a punching bag of insults. He's as useless as the "P" in Psychology. ![]() |

Djdamian:Not the general norm, no need shying away from saying the truth. But you will make money as far as you're ready to work and the car is sound. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 11:11am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Itsrm:I can prove that I earn 1.5 million + every month of this year. Your submission was also made from your feelings and not facts. |

Pearl1910:Barbi and dapotemi are basically Siamese twins. I usually can't tell one from the other. Cut from the same cloth. I'll rather water a stone and expect a shoot than expect any sense from them. Been here a long time. Others can as well testify. Blanket stupidity. ![]() |

This is indeed a very intriguing topic. If drivers can genuinely remit 120k-140k or more weekly, I believe many investors would renew their interest in this business, including myself. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 11:36am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Shimmaa:If you're paying me for consultancy, I'll rattle off the top of my head. Since you arent, go to jiji, use the search description, search for cars less than 3m, manual transmission, look at pictures, Identify any without wires crisscrossing the engine bay, have a list, go with your mechanic. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 11:38am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Djdamian:there are cars right now on jiji with 1.2 liter engines. Do a deep dive on them, their maintenance costs, costs of parts, costs of purchase. You'll be surprised at what you'll find. You're not dapotemi. I trust your judgement. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Djdamian(m): 11:47am On Nov 28, 2024 |
CheerfulGiver:If I were to venture into this business again, I wouldn’t consider buying a scrap car from Jiji for 2-3 million, as I’ve tried that before, and it didn’t turn out well. However, if someone can guarantee me a weekly remittance of 150k, I’d definitely invest in a tokunbo Corolla. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by XGhost: 11:47am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Djdamian:The key to everything is the driver, na where wahala de dey be that. Also, like the dead horse we've been flogging here since, what some drivers earn here others can't conceive the thought of such figures talk more of earning it. So, go figure |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 11:48am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Djdamian:Deduct fuel costs and u have net earnings. I can tell u for free drivers make minimum 30k full day daily. |

dapotemi:See this hypocrite ![]() Imagine this is someone who usually greets me with unwarranted abuses once a week . . . Is he the same person opening his mouth to say these things? Well I no blame you, as you don jam person wey sabi give you RAW na why you no waste time pick race ![]() |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 11:56am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Conner44:Sir, you give me undue credit. I'm not even as smart as you are. I just have common sense. But when common sense is always being countered by half baked, half thoughtout, illogical opinions from innately stupid people, it makes my arguments look more plausible to right thinking individuals. In the country of the blind, a one eyed man is king. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by CheerfulGiver: 11:58am On Nov 28, 2024 |
Djdamian:Funny, I'll never advise anybody to buy a Corolla for Uber. No corollas, no automatics. If you're hell bent on buying a Toyota tokunbo, buy a Yaris manual. |

Itsrm:I have been posting earnings here since subsidy removal. Yes, festive period comes with higher earnings but I always given minimum earnings for ordinary time. |
