We shall know the truth later after the accusations and counter accusations about the authenticity of the operations of the refinery. And for those celebrating, the only way we shall be assured that the present government has done something tangible is when the price comes down. Otherwise, it is running because it favours the cabal. You trust this fraudulent government to your own peril. |

In Nigeria, if you blend C5 with naphtha it's called refining hence the refinery is producing petroleum products. ![]() |

Ok. At what price are Nigerians still buying Fuel?? Has the price gone down below N1000 per litre yet? Why should we celebrate Dangote or PH refinery if we are still paying more for PMS ![]() There was so much hype about Dangote refinery and how it was supposed to be the game changer that will ensure steady supply of fuel and crash in pump price. Alas, Dangote Refinery came along and the reverse was the case - with spike in pump price amidst controversies. It was far from expectations as Nigerians were made to pay even higher despite products being refined locally and costs reduced. Now it is PH Refinery being touted as the game changer to crash price and ensure only God knows what in the Petroleum sector!!!! The dominant question is : Why are Nigerians being forced to buy fuel over N1000/ per litre even when the products are refined locally? There is no way fuel should cost more than N500 per litre in Nigeria given that we have the crude and we are refining locally. Infact, if govt want to decide to refine crude and sell PMS at N300 per litre, it can. But some wicked criminals in govt want to milk Nigerians and won't allow that to happen. The fact remains that Nigerians are being scammed by both Dangote and the FG. |

Some foolish once think that we hate Tinubu or that we don't want the refinery to work. If Tinubu does exceptionally well we will praise him but idiots want us to praise him for no reason. Things have become more expensive right now. We know what we can get with our Naira before 2015 that APC said that the country economy was bad so if they can take the economy back to that time that I can purchase gari for 250 for a basket and other stuffs then I can praise him and I can vote for him. But not until he achieved that he has done nothing. Moreso, it's not enough for the refineries to work because to me a working refinery is when I can buy fuel below #200. Let forget #65 per litre. |

We will deliver all the other projects. We are not going to give a timeline as he (Tinubu) has directed,” the GCEO said while appreciating the President for his supportEven the President realises that NNPC is an unreliable entity, and would not want them to continue to ridicule the government with their unprofessionalism and consistency in meeting all the publicly disclosed timelines. |

Lies again. the total liters of fuel they claim the refinery churns out is about 5M liters. A standard tanker has minimum of 33,000 liters. 200 trucks x 33,000 litres = 6.6M liters. |
