He carefully selected his words

And truly, Maurice Iwu is the most corrupt Nigerian ever and he served under OBJ. Obj oversaw the worst electoral process in the history of any African country.
Compare and contrast Between Maurice Iwu and Mahmood Yakubu who is better.

Baba Obasanjo must position himself in respectable positions. Not to give a talk that will entice some younger people to exchange words with him....

Babangida, Abdulsalam, and all other elderly leaders in the northern region are still respected today because they rose to respectable positions.....
I believe that Baba Obasanjo should abandon his criticism of himself because any criticism elicits a defensive response, which is not always appealing.

He should play the role of an elder state man instead of playing the role of a politicians in which he is used to. ..respect is reciprocal in all sphere

Stupid Bode George! He should be vigilant when he walks so you are planning to kill him! Noted!
In as much as I don't support election rigging what Onanuga said is true. The same process of rigging brought all of them into power right from Shagari regime to Tinubu!
Obasanjo is a shameless hypocrite!
Pathetic set of people!

You are right on this. The old man will still tell you that he is no longer in politics but the opposite is the case.

Abeg all this babas should stop threatening people as if we can all be born on the same day

Been around a couple of years before someone else was born doesn't make you invincible
Any well trained child in Yoruba culture is not nihilistic with regards to age. We respect age, moreso elderly people.

There's no threat in stating that there'll be consequences for any one who defies the elderly in yoruba land.

Reno's 'Omoluabi' in the mud

You can play politics without insulting elders.

Tinubu and APC can't be right and everybody's wrong always!
Re: Obasanjo Old Enough To Be Onanuga’s Father – Bode George by Sleekfingers: 2:47pm On Nov 28, 2024
How is what he said, an insult? He pointed out some key areas, which he was on point . .

Inasmuch, I don't fancy the way Bayo Onanuga talks sometimes. But with what he said , I don't see anything wrong there....

In my opinion, Obasanjo has no moral right to talk about failed state. He is also a bloody corrupt man .
Re: Obasanjo Old Enough To Be Onanuga’s Father – Bode George by onuman: 2:52pm On Nov 28, 2024
Ha ha ha. Bayo Onanuga has no idea that political power is transient. Tinubu's presidency has Onanuga as its ideologue. The presidency is as if it has an agenda to undue the Igbo in Nigeria.

Bode Tinubu is old enough to be my father I still call him old fool. Right now I have no respect for what who does not care about the future of my children I'm late to the game.
Re: Obasanjo Old Enough To Be Onanuga’s Father – Bode George by BJanta: 3:03pm On Nov 28, 2024
Baba f'agba ara ę wólę ni Bayo se ri fín. You should tell your father to making a fool of himself all around. He's NOT the only former head of state or president. He's absolutely of no relevance or value in Nigeria of today. The results of all elections since he left office should have taught all this. But arrogance and dullness of mind have made him unreachable. He should stop weeping and desecrating about the whole place. Even Jonathan who is much younger and with just one term in office is not going weeping, sorrowing and agonising about and vomiting at every opportunity. Tell your father that and stop disturbing us with your of joblessness.
Re: Obasanjo Old Enough To Be Onanuga’s Father – Bode George by gabbytabby: 3:03pm On Nov 28, 2024
It’s not an insult but a statement of fact and Mr Obasanjo needs to learn to borrow a leaf from the other Statemen and Ex Presidents..

It is his arrogance that led to it. An elder should not be stoking up division.

Fathers should respect their age too, in public discuss especially when you're not responsible for the welfare of the son as a child or adulthood.

Same thing was said years back when Fayose was a thorn in the flesh and nothing happened. Today Fayose will still insult Obasanjo if he crosses his boundary with Osoko
Those that have done it in the past, where are they now

And you think Oshoko of 5 years ago is still the same Oshoko of today? Better look keenly and know that ile nyo (ground is slippery). If you cannot bridle your mouth and always know the limit you can go in some issues, you will pay dearly for it.
Bayo Onanugu is too emotional to critical issue and he doesn't worth been a spokesman to a sensitive post like presidency. He react to issues with emotional attachment.
One would wonder why Tinubu delayed appointing him. Tinubu knows who he is and he must have been begged before he appointed him. The man is old but still behave like a tout and no control of words.

I Dino not like onanuga nor thieftinubu but he said the truth
Obj is the root cause of the failing Nigeria we have today
If he had put things in place when he became president I believe things would have been better. He has no moral right to talk done on this present govt when he’s was worst

We all remember Maurice iwu sega on election so make em shut up

what right has obasanjo to insult a sitting president and attempt to bring his government down. why does obasanjo always wants everybody to see himself as god and must show respect to him with his limited and primitive ideas? obasanjo can only live in nigeria,
