Lol people don't even understand the underplay here. Macron and France have slowly lost their grip on francophone West Africa and their presence in Africa is gradually being eroded. They had been rejected by French West Africa and what next do you expect them to do in such an instance to avoid completely losing grip on West Africa to emerging power blocks and influencers in Africa like Russia and China? Of course the next thing they'd expectedly do is to go for easy picks like Nigeria. If you think Macron was doing all that because he loves Nigeria then you're of all earthly men naive. He knows we don't have an intelligent president who looks out for what his country can benefit from this, but a president who's easily star struck by such first world countries inviting him. Just watch how it plays out.

It is always good to have a big personalty at the helm of affairs. Tinubu is well connected globally. The last time Nigeria experienced similar international recognition among global leaders was during OBJ's era. International figures like Bill Clinton and Tony Blair were personal friends of Obasanjo. Buhari's era was the worst. He has no friend within the global circle, he was just a mere local champion whose personality really drew Nigeria backwards in many ways.
And Tpain has drawn naija backwardest Sha.

What a wonderful accomplishment. Don't mind those idiots who are worried about useless things like runaway inflation and escalating poverty. What do those fools know?

but they say he is a fraud but this world leaders are giving him maximum honour. from Chinese president to india PM to Joe Biden nd nw Macron. I doubt if any Nigeria president has been treated with such an honour since democracy. mayb Obasanjo but I'm sure not up to this level.

Hmm. A was a youth doing is internship in 2002. 22 years later he is president and still meeting the same people in power in Nigeria. The youth are no longer the future in nigeria. Same with Trudeau who visited as a toddler.

Funny you! Has all connections improved naira value.
All these world leaders are looking for how to suck the country resources (they are parasite), you are calling it friendship. All IMF recommendation brings hardship to masses

Buhari did well by distance himself from them
