Our Daily Light


As we know Jesus better, his divine power gives us everything we need for living a godly life. For he has called us to receive his own glory and goodness! Through this knowledge he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.


Do you know Jesus? Do you know what he has called you for?
Do you know his power and what he has provided for you?
Do you know his promises for your life?

Without knowing this things you cannot resist the temptations of this world we live in. That's why Peter then writes;


For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness (righteous deeds, virtue, good character), so with diligence not wasting time concerning the promises to your life build upon your faith righteousness by using faith to do good and develop an excellent character; and to then it knowledge, for righteous leads to getting to know God better; and to your knowledge of God, self control which is discipline that comes from knowing God, and this leads to perseverance and enduring patiently long-suffering which enables you to be devoted to God. For with such character knowledge and patience that leads to devotion, you will be kind and graciously love others especially other believers.

These things will make you useful to God, active, effective and fruitful in your knowledge of Lord Jesus Christ. The more you grow like this, possessing these qualities, you will not be barren and idle but bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit and shows that you know Jesus. For whoever lacks these qualities is blind, not seeing what they have, they are [spiritually] shortsighted, seeing only what is near to him, and has become oblivious [to the fact] that he was cleansed from his old sins. (2 Peter 1:3-9; and freed from the Law like Paul wrote)


Prayer Point Today
Father I want to know you more and your Son Jesus Christ, enable me to obey him and do your will. Give me diligence and godly character, help me to persevere in your will and be devoted to you and love others in Jesus name. Amen

Almost 2000 years later, the vast majority of those who claim or pretend to know Jesus Christ of Israel conveniently reject the fact that He made it abundantly clear to all that His Father, YHWH of Israel, sent Him only to the Lost Sheep of Israel.

You cannot know Jesus Christ of Israel if you conveniently reject a side of Him, in this case, the side that specifically tells you that He has nothing to do with you in the first place unless you are of the bloodline of Israel— born of that blood of Jacob from your mother's womb.
