There is no time we count how many times we eat. If you are hungry only once in a day, you go and carry food, if you are hungry ten times in a day, you go and carry food. Food is not what you put time to or what you count how many times. No let poverty wound you

These Northerners always think everything must start and end with them... Imagine banning revenue generating commodity like alcoholic drinks in their region but still shared from the same proceeds generated by other regions. For how long will the north remain a toddler to continually fed by the south? 😠

Even if no single Senator from the North and South supports the Bill, we will still pass it. Once SP Godswill Akpabio says “those in support say Aye”, if no single person says “Aye”, then silence means acceptance and consent, then the Ayes have it. If you like bring out guns on the floor of the House, once Godswill Akpabio pronounce God’s Will, it becomes LAW. Ogun kee una Mama.

Instead of bringing together your best brains to scrutinise the Bills and see how you can propose adjustments and modifications that will favour you, and if all you have in your states are serial killers, you can employ Consultants from any part of the world to help you scrutinise the Bills. Once you don’t do that, but you think you have any means of stopping the Bills, then you are damn for life, because we will pass the four Bills even if no single Senator besides the SP supports it.

Just as the president and his people did to GEJ in 2015 just for his own selfish political interest.

Have you read the bill? Why should one be against a bill that would bring relief to an average Nigerian? If there are aspects you're not comfortable with, there is opportunity of public hearing. Most Governors are against the bill because it would reduce their revenue since many people would be exempted from tax payments

all this sentiment me no understand.if u feel the bill is anti people , why not point to an aspect or clause that make it anti people.
People that hv read through it point a part that say people earning less than a million will no longer pay PAYE tax.can such be said to be anti people. Atleast just point to what you read in the bill that make it anti people bill.

There can’t be southern unity. Agbado ronuist believe they’re better than everyone else and do not need their supports. It’s only a matter of time.

I read through the bill and I think it's well structured. This shows the level of laziness of the Northern Governor's to generate revenue with the way they have been against passing the bill. You're free to ban whatever you want to in the name of haram, just be ready to bear the consequences alone. There are possibly room for adjustments in the bill if they're serious. The bill is long overdue.

Olodo, the Bills have passed first and second reading speedily ooooo, before you blink your eyes, you will see Godswill Akpabio saying “Ayes have it”, and the next morning, you will see Tinubu JAGABAN on your television signing the Bills into LAW. You can then cry yourself to sleep and wake up in tears

This is civilian government, not democracy, don’t mix up the two. Democracy cannot work in a country where over 75% are dummies, so we have to impose civilian dictatorship on you. Obasanjo did it, Tinubu is continuing. Goatluck Jonathan was too weak, he couldn’t do it and you see how he ended. Buhari is too dull to know his left from right.

So this is a civilian government, not democracy. Make everybody head correct

They are just being greedy. By the time they tax everyone earning more than 1 million naira a year (that is 3500 a day so okada rider would submit 25% of their income and store owners), they would earn the same amount but no freeloading from other states revenue.
