This is pure wayo like they did in our oil sector where we have no say. After this fake investment they will be in control of the sector for decades with Nigeria having little or no say. It's better to leave our gas until we can do the exploration ourselves. |

Now we know. Which countries will the gas pass through. The anti french countries. Gas from imo state of Nigeria and they still deny igboland presidency. Upiantu. Biafra might happen very soon. It's all politics of survival. Ask Russia why they interfered in the democra y of the countries where the gas will pass Anybody that knows international politics know that EU need another source of gas like they need water cos of Russian Ukrainian war. They lost a lot in this mindless war. New alliance. To be part of brics, can Nigeria romance France. We need answer. Nobody should quote me to spew unintelligent discuss. Not ready to answersomething that I will not learn from. |

sonnie10:Whaaa at? Really? After committing large scale and unprovoked political assassination of leaders of other tribes the south east annexed the newly discovered oil fields of the South south.Of course Nigeria wasn't having that..France came in much later supporting Biafra with some rifles and ammunition.. yes with the oil as a motivation.. but to say it was between total and shell and you "saw" something is a great fabrication..i have to tackle it because if person leave una, you go change the words in the Bible and all of history . If you were so good at seeing why didn't you see your defeat and plan for the war better That episode was a diplomatic stain for France because an almost dead Biafra was slightly revived by their small arms and ammo drops unnecessarily prolonging the war which was already at its endgame and prolonging the suffering of the starved initiators of the war. France was not a proxy of Biafra and neither was total at the start of the war. The support was an opportunistic move by De Gaul at the end stages of the war Also there is no "more reliable" anything..we are living with the consequences of corrupt military regimes - (after you guys have "opened the dance floor" of military coup and assassination just 6 yrs into the existence of the country) - that squandered the oil wealth.... exploitation and environmental degradation only occured due to the negligence of our own leaders. |

spinna:Hold on before you start to say rubbish which mindless assassinations? How can 5 people(4 igbos and one yoruba man) who planned a coup now represent the whole igbos race? The same you people say all the time that all northerners are not Boko Haram, yet na all igbos assassinated all the leaders of Northern and western Nigeria abi!!! I hate hypocrites like you and mind you that 1966 gimmick is becoming stale. Also note that other tribes participated in that coup. Igbos never opened any dance floor, it was a military coup pure and simple, do not put tribal coloration to it. The civil war was a war for control of oil. Gowon and Ojukwu knew the vast oil reserves and the British didn't want someone they cannot control running the old Eastern region. They knew Ojukwu and they know that Ojukwu knew them inside out as someone who studied in Oxford and the then British Ambassador David Hunt hated Ojukwu because his ex wife was Ojukwu's former lover at a point. |

spinna:You said unprovoked. It’s either you are deaf or pretentious. I guess you are the only one that has not seen that hate filled video of your Saduana mounting profanity against the Igbos even before coup. What was the crime of the Igbos to warrant such? And for you to summit that the environmental impact of crude oil exploration in the former SE region is a result of government failure shows how shameless you are. |

NNPC that owns the gas won't support local companies to harness the gas for local use or electricity. Well maybe as it is a foreign company NNPC will play ball but I pity them. NNPC na scam. Nigeria has no business being poor or borrowing if NNPC does their job well |
