As a southerner,I don't trust Tinubu...nothing he promised has ever worked. Even if it would benefit the whole country,as far as it is coming from Tinubu I doubt his intentions. The man has no genuine intentions. How can anyone trust a man who once promised to slow the economy and widen the tax net be trusted with his tax proposal? The Tax reform bill must pass while the States should be given the power to regulate which companies can sell products in their States and how the VAT should be collected. No more having a head office in another State or region while your area of operation is in another region. The reform must be comprehensive. Oil and Gas companies should go to Niger Delta for a start. 2 Likes |

It's matter of time in the future...Lagos must go back to the FG cos the whole nation can't invest in one state and a few persons claim the glory. We can have two capital... Administrative and Industrial Capital. The bill will be raised and I doubt any region aside SW will vote against it. The intimidation is too much even though most of the investment were done when it was capital. Time shall tell |
