What got trashed in the Osun-2022 election was BVAS-Report that was generated from the server.

They used the grammer of “Synchronisation” and rendered the BVAS-Report Useless.

This is what you guys do
Whenever electoral malpractice is being called out, you guys rush to remind everyone of the past as if your APC did not win election with a sitting president from another party. Did you guys gatecrash the 2015 elections where you won majority of states, NASS and presidency? Instead of improving on that, your party is taking us back to 2007 while you the clownish sycophants are urging them on.
You guys are simply enemies of Nigeria
Well, it is what it is.

One's morality will always be judged...

Except that person has actually renounce and regret his or her past actions and carry out thorough restitution, returning whatever that has been acquired through corrupt practices into the covers of the Government ..then and only can we say the person is free from the encumbrances of being judged by past actions..

Then we can also say the person has moral ground to question illegalities and corrupt practices.

you are clever by half. Irev was meant to match bvas report such that if total of 100 votes were reported in Bvas, total valid and voided votes on Irev should match as 100. The moment the supreme court prioritised voters register ahead of bvas, c'est fini.

The supreme court in Osun 2022 election
set the dangerous precedence. 2015 rivers gubernatorial election supreme court outcome in favour of Pdp also made a mess of the thumbprint validation tech( smart card reader) used.

You shouldn't have written the bolded. It just exposed your ignorance
actually' stating there was no result in 153 polling units to make a case for "substantial" manipulation of outcome is what an ignorant person will say.

Electoral law is clear on what should be done in cases of violence or "over voting" beyond registered voters, those are grounds for cancellation.

I disagree sir. Osun tribunal was about which is acceptable as primary evidence between bvas report and bvas machine. SC ruled that BVAS machine not report is the acceptable primary evidence. It had nothing to do with irev

So can you explain the corruption allegations against Osita as an individual?
If we're to apply your logic, it is safe to say pdp has atoned for 2007 electoral malfeasance by losing 2015. So why is 2007 always referred to when electoral malfeasance under APC is brought up?

INEC has gotten to a point where they tamper with results from the backend. Honestly, Nigeria is not a country.

There has to be another noun used to describe what Nigeria is!

I watched the election live and direct. He indicted PDP also as it appears both parties rigged the election, only the better rigged won the election.

One can say the PDP taught the APC how to rig, seeing how the PDP have been rigging election since 1999. Lol

One day will definitely come -- when everybody will become Individual Independent ELECTION-OBSERVERS in Nigeria..

.
Whether you observe elections or not, it won't change anything because these criminals in INEC headquarters are now altering election results from the backend of their server. Nigeria is just a criminal enterprise!

He was investigated for by EFCC for a #3.9 Bn fraud.

It's not about PDP, SDP, APC or what have you.

I am just telling you that it's difficult for any politician in Nigeria, especially, those who have been at the helm of affairs before to criticise corrupt practices and Nigerians will not ask questions about their past.

Nigerians, will ask on what moral basis such politician is criticising corruption. It's logical to ask.

If people like Ngozi Iweala is criticising the government...no one will ask this kind if question, because she has never been investigated for corruption...despite her being in government in the past.

That's the difference between her and someone like Osita

Sorry, I checked online and I didn't see anything like that. See the screenshot. If you have you can share link with me pls.

Funny enough, the present president has been fingered in so much fraud and yet we have Nigerians ready to defend him with their lives. Wike his sidekick has multiple fraud as well.
So I wonder why Nigerians allowed such people in power with their sordid past.

If EFCC call me for questioning and I went there and cleared myself -- and they didn't find me wanting in any way -- I wasn't even sued to court by them.... So, you're saying that I am already a bad person just because EFCC investigated me.??

What then will you say about Akpabio that actually got convicted, but used court technicalities to get himself out of the net.??

I am not saying Osita is bad or justifying he is a saint..

I am only responding to that post saying Nigerians cannot see him through his past and on what ground is he now questioning those in power.

So, I am saying, we have right to ask about his own past when he was in Government and yes, that can mask how we judge his contributions now to public discourse.

I've read it. There's no follow up to it but at least you have a point that he was once invited over fraud.

But what is being discussed here is electoral fraud not economic fraud. So I don't understand why that still be brought up in a thread on electoral fraud

We all know how many corruption related investigations of highly exposed political office holders ended on the pages of news papers without reaching the courts....does that vindicated or indicted those involved? You answer that. .na both sides of the coin.

Anyways, I am not saying Osita is good or bad...I am only saying Nigerians have right to ask him questions and refer to his own past when he was in government..and that can judge how Nigerians perceives his comments on politics these days.

If it's based on his past that's influencing his comments, he'll support the party in power in order to get protection from prosecution. What happened here does not follow that. He's even accusing the ruling party of electoral fraud.
It makes it seem as if he's being attacked to divert from his message

I will like to State/Stress the importance of credible elections in a democratic system. The Election process is more important than the government, governance and laws.

The Elections is what decide if we are actually operating a democracy or autocracy or what because it determines if this government is by the people, for the people or of the people and a representation/Reflection the people as its supposed to be.

A rigged Election cannot produce a democracy cos it is not the representation of the will or voice of the people.

it is one this to have poor electoral systems that need updating it's awhole different criminality to sabotage a supposed credible system deliberately.

The Election determines if it is a democracy.

if you listen to the hypocritical report by the former minister who claimed to have resigned from PDP hours ago, he specifically talked about discrepancy from BVAS., this can not be presented in election tribunal because PDP had their way at the supreme court 2022 Osun state election. Current APC is still a big learner when compared to PDP. PDP political actors are way brutal when election manipulations are involved. 2023 presidential election worst manipulation was in PDP wikes state against LP. It is people who are just following Nigerian politics some 5 years ago that can be deceived by the PDP rhetorics

I believe the Edo 2024 gubernatorial election was a close one, and APC would still have won despite some irregularities which favored both major parties.
