Cheese is just too expensive now even the American goyslop sliced cheese which I used to avoid is now far too expensive.

I however make my own sausages now and after a few experiments with various spice combination, I think my beef sausages will beat any out there. I buy my sausage filler online and my sausages now cost 70% cheaper than all that over processed mystery meat they have in stores.

Other than that, I still miss my cheese.

It is unfortunate how bad the situation has gotten.

I don't think things have ever been this difficult for the common man, to the point of not being able to afford common foods.

With that stated, what are your favourite meals, and can you still afford to eat them?

Pic 3 not sure how deep the plate is cheesy

Now if you are feeding a family of 2 or family of 4/5, husband and wife, or husband, wife and 2/3 children - with each eating that large, then it will be expensive.

Eating large amounts of food is one reason why food is expensive grin

Yes, I can still afford to eat what I desire always. I work with NGO as Young Talent below age 30 in which Cost of Living Adjustment is reviewed on our Salary as Dollar rate increases even though the review may not be equivalent to the inflation rate. Nevertheless, we still thank God as it's better than nothing. Just remaining for me to get a suitable and comfortable lady as spouse.

I understand what Nigerians are passing through, may God settle us & open more doors of better opportunities for us.

My love for bread and eggs is unquantifiable but can't even remember when last I ate the combination. I hardly eat from 2k bread even if I manage to buy it.
What's always left for me will be like snacks.
Meanwhile I can't even near eggs at all.
