it is the economy. high quality earbuds were like 30k to 50k three years ago. throw in inflation, Nigerian greed and here we are . the big problem is that you cannot really tell how good they are until after you have bought them. in obodo oyibo, no problem as you can return. in naija it is what it is

i have anker soundcore earbuds i use intermittently. i have had no issues with them

imho most of these oraimo and co and just rebadged low quality chinese schlok on same level as tecno. if you are a basic user no problem. but if you are using for work related stuuf, you can get frustrated fast

i have a guy we took on to do soem cad work. guy has a tecno phone. i sent him data so he can create a hotspot for his pc. to set up a hotspot was wahala. settings wahala- all those wpa, wpa2 multiple wifi band you take for granted - no dey in his phone. after we created the hotspot, the pc could not detect it. makes you understand why they say some devices are enterprise class - so you will just connect them seamlessly, rather than waste a whole day struggling.

Get samsung airbuds 3 pro and thank me later.

I have an Edifier NeoBuds Pro 2 I got for around 180k and I would also recommend Bang and Olufsen buds although the price range is in the early 300s (300k+), Or just do what I did and get AirPods Pro 2 as a backup lol
