Abiola ought to be hang by the balls and his spirit sentence to death still..

Abiola dead was celebrated in some African countries and the military till date has no remorse

Yoruba should not change the narrative of a man .. Nigerians know and lived through his time

A man that sponsored coups .. dawn religion, sponsored killing of innocent .. and still want to become President through philanthropy.. to wave what people knew at that time

No!

He committed a treasonable act and his cup was filled

Someone as a civilian that sees his elf above the the president and above law ..

Abiola ..

His story is for another day..

We know the truth

Nigerians knows the truth…

His tribe can decide to paint him white .. but the truth will always suffice

God bless Nigeria

Their forefathers stoned Awolowo during campaign in Abia, their fathers wanted Abiola to be hanged. They are showing unprecedented hatred towards Tinubu but in all, they remain third class citizen.

The HATRED no be today (2015 or even 2005) he start!

Just like in the animal kingdom, those people are the NATURAL ENEMIES of the Yorubas.

Their hatred is both spiritual AND genetic!

Yorubas need to WAKE UP, and know their ANCIENT ENEMY!

I hope the liberals AKA "Yoruba but" among us will wake up.

We need to WAKE UP & RONU!!!

Nuff said.

I am Igbo. I have never lived in Yoruba land except my one year NYSC in Ondo and occasional visits to Lagos, but I speak Yoruba fluently. I learnt the language when I was in school in my state, Anambra from my Yoruba friends and some igbo guys that spoke Yoruba.

@post, below is what I got from chatgpt.

The assertion that Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu advised Sani Abacha to hang Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola is a contentious claim that is not supported by universally accepted historical evidence. However, if this narrative is explored, it is essential to examine the broader historical context and the potential motivations or misinterpretations surrounding the individuals involved. Here's an outline of the context:

1. MKO Abiola and His Presidential Mandate (1993)

MKO Abiola, a businessman and politician, won Nigeria's presidential election on June 12, 1993, in what is widely regarded as the fairest election in Nigeria's history.

The military regime of Ibrahim Babangida annulled the election, sparking widespread protests and unrest.

Abiola subsequently declared himself president in 1994, leading to his arrest by the Abacha regime and imprisonment on charges of treason.

2. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu's Role

Ojukwu was a prominent Nigerian leader, remembered for leading the Biafran secession during the Nigerian Civil War (1967–1970). By the 1990s, he had re-entered Nigerian politics and was associated with the ruling elite in some capacities.

Allegations that Ojukwu advised Abacha to execute Abiola are rooted in rumors rather than concrete historical documentation. It is speculated that any such suggestion may have arisen from political rivalry or Ojukwu’s attempts to maintain favor with the military regime.

3. Potential “Sins” of Abiola

Political Assertiveness: Declaring himself president after the annulled election put him at odds with the military regime and was considered treasonous.

Perceived Threat to Military Power: Abiola's push for democracy threatened the entrenched military rule.

Ethnic Tensions: His Yoruba identity and advocacy for democracy may have been perceived as destabilizing in a country with deep ethnic divides.

4. Historical Credibility of the Claim

The claim lacks substantial evidence and could stem from political propaganda or attempts to smear Ojukwu’s reputation.

Most accounts of Abiola’s imprisonment and eventual death focus on Abacha's decisions and the military's dynamics, not external advice.

Conclusion

There is no concrete proof that Ojukwu explicitly advised Abacha to hang Abiola. The "sins" attributed to Abiola were his pro-democracy stance, resistance to military rule, and symbolic representation of a more equitable Nigeria. Interpretations of Ojukwu's role, if any, may vary based on political narratives and historical biases.

In the graves of the two men now.

One is HERO and the second is villain.

One immortalised, and his country men would ever be celebrating him. Also, his own people have continually dominating political space since his demise.

While for the villain, not only he leaved a life of inferiority through out his life time, his generation continuing the slavery as it were, and that's how it would be till thy kingdom come.
