From the way I understand it, the old testament commandments on tithing are neither practical nor mandatory for we non-jewish christians. BUT a christian can voluntarily decide to give 10% of his or her income to God as a way of acknowledging God and appreciating him as the one who gave you the money, and also as a way of thanking God for his blessings in every other aspects of your life. I tell you there is undeniable blessing in doing this.

Don't pay tithe to force God to bless you or do anything for you because it doesn't work that way. Tithing should only be one of the ways of showing appreciation to God for all that he has already done for you and for being your ultimate provider.

As for those of you who like to think God does not need our money, don't forget that if you attend a church where God is worshipped in truth and in spirit that money will be put to good use for the furtherance of his kingdom on earth.

So if I don't give 10% of my money, will I experience undeniable blessings?

GOD doesn't command Michael547 to tithe. I would advise Michael547 to seek a personal relationship of GOD rather than literally reading the Bible. Does GOD command you to not use electronics?

There's one that forms very gentle, calm and soft spoken. He has hypnotised the entire congregation in believing that he's the mouthpiece of God.
He recently said something about dollar and naira. A big lier and scammer.

Another big lier is there in PH and from.the Riverine part of Rivers State. He is so proud and arrogant, and can tell his congregation to go to hell in their face. He has also brainwashed his followers into believing that he is their messiah.

Nowhere in the bible does God say that there is a difference between Christians who pay tithe and those who don't pay. If there is, show me the verse.

May I notify you that everyone pays a form of tithe. It only depends on where it's been paid to. Some pay to their mechanics, some to the doctors, some to gaming shops, some to waste, others to their god.

Even Elon Musk, Dangote, Bill Gates etc are spiritual people they may not disclose it to you where they pay their tithes. Even idols are worshipped with thanksgiving offerings and sacrifices.

Be careful where you make your tithes and sacrifices. God appoints specific altars for tithes and sacrifice Deuteronomy 12:13-14. Three things determine the acceptance of your tithes and sacrifices. 1. The quality of your seed. 2. The purity of your soul (motive) for giving. No grudgingly but be a cheerful giver. 3. The soil (altar) where you're sowing your tithe. Shalom

Why the plenty messages against tithe especially from so called Christians. If ur faith is tied to tithe giving do it with a Godly heart nad don't condemn those who don't connect their faith with tithe. Also if u don't believe in it don't condemn those who believe in it. It all comes down to your faith. I used to pay my tithe all through last year but I found out I was seeing it as a burden and wasn't doing it willingly. But the bible says we should give not grudgingly or of necessity for God loves a cheerful giver. I am not proud that I have stopped giving my tithe I still pray for God's grace to come to that level where I pay my tithe without seeing it as a burden. However, I have given to my church's project and development far more than what I would have given as tithe on 6 months. I find out that I freely give to kingdom advancement and gospel outreach without holding back and God has been blessing me. In all pray for grace to give to God willingly either it's tithe or free will offering for the expansion of God's kingdom. The overemphasis on tithe above spiritual gifts is what churches need to tone down on.

Where does the Bible teach that tithe is anything that we give to God?

Solomon offered 1000 burnt offerings to God before God appeared to him in the dream and blessed him.
God is not the only source of wealth; you can get it Babylon way and face the consequences.
But God only blesses people as long as you are loyal to his kingdom.
Seek ye 1st the kingdom of God and it's righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you.
