This word empowerment is so abused. I gave my neighbour some salt becomes I empowered my neighbour... a pastor shares out groceries to the poor....as he supposed to do ... he empowers the poor... nobody is giving again .... everybody empowering. The sad part with this empowerment is you never see results or improvement in the lives of those empowered except when members of the church empower the pastor ... even the blind can then see dramatic improvement the life of the pastors.
