motayoayinde:There is a very big difference between the Syrian and Lebanese armies. The Syrian army was heavily battered and lost most of its heavy equipment in the early 2010's when the US, Israel, and their gang of bullies started the civil war. That was the point it went from the powerful mechanized army formation it used to be to the less-powerful but still agile motorized infanty-style force that it is today. And unlike other countries, including Libya, which fell after NATO bombardment, Syria stood its ground despite coming under repeated bombardments for four years, starting from 2011 until 2015, when Russia intervened. The Lebanese army, for its own part, have very good and brave soldiers who can provide results and stand their ground, but they are lacking any real leadership. All they have are useless western ass-licking politicians and boy scout generals who have turned the army into a group of glorified boy scouts with guns. The only reason Lebanon retains its territory is because of Hezbollah. Without that, Israel would have taken over a good chunk of the country as it did with Palestine, and would have turned large parts of it into another open-air prison as it did with Gaza. Israel even broke off southern Lebanon into a satellite state but Hezbollah fought for the territory from 1982 to 2000 (18 years), and won. That was why Hezbollah was even formed in the first place, and is the reason Hezbollah has wide support in Lebanon. Just take a look at the Lebanese air force to see what I am saying. Despite being a neighbor to a lunatic nation like Israel and witnessing the neverending proxy wars the NATO and Israel has funded in the region, sometimes against Lebanon itself, the Lebanese air force does not have a single fighter jet. All they have are some old planes and helicopters that won't even scare a class full of Ibime's brothers in the creeks. As they say, it is better to have an army of sheep led by a lion than an army of lions led by a sheep. That is the sad tale of the Lebanese military and will remain quite so for a long time. The current situation in Syria is nothing. It is just like Ukraine's invasion of Kursk. It begins fast but dies down the moment the enemy mobilizes and begins to fight back. The situation will reverse in Syria's favor in the coming days. |

usmanpogo:Does the Nigerian air force really have a history of bombing indiscriminately? I seriously doubt that. They make mistakes every now and then when they bomb gatherings in villages, but those are not very common and they they are not indiscrimate either. Those bombings appear to be genuine mistakes that result from errors and misidentification, rather than being deliberate or the result of carpet bombings. |

No matter how much you try to explain something to a bright bulb, they will remain fixated on whatever they want to use to disagree, no matter how incorrect or wrong. Still baffles me how people are aligning the refusal of USA to sell lethal weapons to Nigeria to LGBTQI+ when the matter had already been existing since the Odi fiasco of Bayelsa state during OBJ administration. When you have a history of indiscriminate bombing and gross human rights violations, even excuses of terrorism will not be enough to wash you clean. Just take a peek at the several incidents that occured when militancy was on the high during the OBJ administration, I remember several states of emergencies that quelled the emerging tremors but the Odi massacre was one way too much and that was what blacklisted Nigeria. If you like, align it with LGBTQI+ just to feed your incorrect assumptions. |

Russia is only fighting in 20% of Ukraine and cannot defend its ally. USA backs Israel, Ukraine and is not faltering on either side. When you tell them USA remains the only country in the world that is capable of maintaining two theatres of war operation at any single time, they tell you it is media propaganda. Can you see for yourselves now? I laugh in Swahili. USA Vs Russia? Bar nuclear weapons and the war will be over even before it started. Not to talk of the almighty NATO that will outnumber Russia at least 20 to 1. Keep wallowing in your ignominy. |

Israel is even considering entering Syria to prevent the rebels from reaching the Syrian border with Israel. |

shoodboi2:Human rights violations is not something to be overlooked, I can't believe you're trying to defend the unprofessionalism of the NAF 24 people were killed less than two months ago in Kaduna Jan 24 2023 Nasarawa - 39 people were killed in Rukubi local government with scores injured According to Amnesty international : more than 120 people were killed in two Separate airstrikes There are instances in the past the Air Force denies these allegations and got away with it. So My friend, as much as I admire your patriotism, these violations are not only rampant but also a dent on our image in the international community. |

Gbadebo19:The US fought in two major theaters in ww2, the nazis in Europe the imperialist in the Pacific in Asia. And was instrumental in the defeat of the Axis Powers A Russian military facing logistics problems in a war in its backyard. The US is the only military capable of lunching a large scale military intervention in any continet of the world. Can Russia carry out an invasion against the continental US?? |

Kingsnairaland:Bro forget all this explanation. If it makes them sleep well at night, please just agree with them. Is it not shameful to compare a single country Russia that until recently had no backing from anyone to a US that enjoys full economic, military and political support of more than 50 countries, from Europe to Asia to Australia. The US is able to launch wars on 2 theatres ONLY because of their ALLIES! These countries host US bases, host US equipment and troops, they give US access to critical infrastructure, they share information and everything with the US. And as you know US allies are literally on every continent. Iraq, Afghanistan invasion was thanks to Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and co that gave the US a place to land their troops and equipment. There's nothing special about that. How is the US able to ship weapons to Ukraine. Isn't it through Poland, Romania and Bulgaria? Let the US fight a war without the support of a dozen countries then I'll take them seriously. For now they're still a paper tiger army. |

motayoayinde:Not really. The Syrian army is definitely much more better armed and capable than the Lebanese Army can ever dream of. That's the problem with frozen conflicts. The Syrian army got too relaxed after fighting stopped, the others built up. During a blitz like this, you have to choose where could be easily defended. The LAF on the other hand had a year of announcements to prepare. They don't even deserve to be called an army. |

Life is funny Sha. Never in my life did I ever envision mainstream support and active cheering for Al Qaeda, especially from those who kept calling us Islamists because we support freedom for Palestinians. One slave was blabbing all about when I said Al Qaeda was not attacking US and her allies again because they are now fighting for US interests. A former ISIS, Al Qaeda and Al Nusra terrorist leader now being rebranded as a suit-wearing "rebel leader". Interesting. I await the day when these "house slaves" will tell us Boko Haram are freedom fighters ![]()

⚡The Syrian army has successfully reclaimed key areas along the administrative border between Hama and Idlib, strengthening its control in the region. In a series of intensive airstrikes, the Syrian military targeted and struck terrorist group positions around Morek, north of Hama, delivering a significant blow to the enemy. Furthermore, the terrorist group have admitted to suffering heavy losses, with over 80 of their militants killed and dozens more wounded in a decisive operation at the Al-Basel roundabout in Aleppo. |

Aleppo fell in just 48 hours ..Funny they call the IDF a airstrikes military. What's stopping the 🐻 from deploying troops, why conduct only airstrikes?? 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Russia has and will never be a reliable partner. Sat and watch Hazebolla and it's terrorist buddies hamas get decimated by the Jews, sat and watched the Israelis keep striking Iranian military structures in syria without even a single form of deterrent. the Syrian regime is getting a dose of the unreliability that comes with putting your security on Russia, can't wait when the twin detritus African countries Mali and Burkina faso will receive their own share of the quagmire that comes with entrusting your security on a toothless Russia. The US has a rich history of committing men and materials when a security pact ally is attacked. From the its war efforts in ww2 to South Vietnam, Kuwait to South Korea. Imagine if Israel was getting overun by terrorist, by now there would have been at least two navy battle groups in the area. A quick reaction force (QRC) would have been mobilized to defend Israel. The US would also rally its allies to contribute and help defend Israel. But here will have a stranded helpless Assad putting his trust on a certain Russia who can't even fight it's own battles without aid from others. A Russia who claims to be a world power an influence on other nations yet it can't even bring together its allies to form a united front. 🤪🤪🤪🤪 Mali and Burkina faso would be worst |
