Hi everyone, my interview is coming up next week, and I just noticed we are to bring a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond our intended period of stay—but my passport expires in December next year.

Am I going to run into any trouble?

My interview was in November, my visa expires in July. I am not even going to renew it till say March in the US. Don't disturb yourself.

Please you guys I made a mistake on my Date of birth on my Ds 160 and I already submitted, is there something I can do about that or it’s not really a big deal if I explain because I made a mistake on only the day ? Please I need your advice cos next week is my interview

I have same problem and so do many others across the world right now. I saw a similar complaint on Reddit and the best explanation so far is to wait some days for the AVITS support guys to upload the set of ds-160 confirmation numbers that have "E" in the middle e.g. AA00E....

I actually changed mine from E to D and C and the error cleared so I align with this explanation. I also see that virtually every complaint I have seen online so far has an E in the number.

I hope it resolves soon.

Hello. Thank you for this information. I noticed days ago someone said it's working now but it's not the same over here. Pls, have you gotten any headway? I got the same response twice when I chatted with their service operators- "AA00E....." issues. Afterwards, i raised a ticket. Still waiting for a response from them. Do we keep waiting? I've been trying to apply since the 21st of November.

I also encounter the invalid ds-160 confirmation number but was rectify last week, I was able to pass the stage last week 21st but still on preapproval

Nope,is a general issue not even nigeria alone with ds-160 confirmation number starting with "AA00E" ....I was able to scale true last week

Create a ticket with them and let them know the problem you are going through. Don’t forget to include your DS-160 confirmation number on the ticket and upload a screenshot of the "Invalid DS-160 number" They should be able to resolve it for you. I don’t know why the website has been trash and giving people different problems. From one problem to another.

To be honest, I was asked little to no questions.
Just basic questions like my age and where I’d be staying in the USA! Do you have family members in the USA(I do)and how long I’ve worked for!

She then handed me the white paper and the pamphlet.

It was a miracle!

Thank you for sharing. I have been at my preapproval stage for since November 6, is therẹ anything you did to get the approval. I'm a J1 visa applicant too.
