The figures should almost be double what is above now considering the devaluation of the Naira

This is a clear insight into the economic activity of the states

50kg bag of rice before devaluation = 45,000 naira.

50kg bag of rice after devaluation= 80,000-90,000 naira

Many have packed their cars, reduction in purchase of petrol.

Purchasing power has been reduced by TINUBULATION.

First, Oyo has a large population of wealthy people

Second, Oyo is a bigger commercial hub than Ogun

Is there any surprise why KFC opened its first outlet outside Lagos in Ibadan

Any surprise why ShopRite opened its first outlet outside Lagos and Abuja in Ibadan

Burger King opened its first outlet outside Lagos in Ibadan. There’s no single outlet of theirs in the SE or even anywhere else in Nigeria apart from Lagos and Ibadan as I type this

These are the credible stats that inform these decisions

No NE and NC in the Top 10. You can understand why the North is shouting wolf.
But showing us the statistics without disclosing the methodology is woke. Stats like this are as good as it's methodology.

..ummm. Even if the statistics is not accurate but it’s not too far from the truth.

Tax reform should be considered even if you don’t like tinubu. If religious house like churches and mosques have to pay tax or shutdown so be it.

Nigeria twx needs reform urgently and seriously. Too many states are unproductive and leach.
Those states need to take agriculture seriously to improve their economy. If they cannot generate revenue through any other technical means

A thread that should have been an opportunity to shed some light on key economic trends and patterns has turned into the usual nonsense. What a waste.

This fellow is just obsessed with us Yoruba. She has to make bad remarks about us to live. Lol. Little did she know we don't care about her in whatsoever way.

That said, I think this means we spend we huge part of our funds on food. The SW specifically, we invest in consumption as much as we do education. A respite into agriculture will ease things for the populace generally.

Anyway, if you care to make some dollar cash as a side hustle. Check my siggy, profile, and learn about ST, Cbex. It's about the only thing I can guarantee helps people get daily 10k+ lately.

While QSRs like the ones you mentioned do provide jobs for some Nigerians, their long term value creation is questionable. There are surely better examples of foreign investment than these thinly disguised purveyors of obesity and type II diabetes.

Oyo state has potentials! That state is highly underrated.

Kano population is highly overestimated, to receive allocations from the FG. Fraudulent census!

Which many? Dey play! No be few days ago we see how go slow don already dey occur for Lagos as early as 6am?

For Ogun state wey I dey, it’s even more shocking. The rate at which people are buying car is shocking me myself.

Regarding that rice, Nigerians are only being greedy - I mean rice sellers. Rice is 63k as at last time wey I price ham for somewhere after Sango.

This particular data was pulled from someone's unsanitized butthole.

Outside Lagos, no other Nigerian state has a higher daily consumption expenditure rate than the FCT.
