Imagine buying a litre of fuel N178 when it could have gone for N416. That N416 is even still lower because going by true or actual Naira strength, it was suppose to be going for around N1200. Uncle Yekini came and removed both economic wedges disguised as subsidy.

If not for subsidy, Nigeria's population will not be more than 55m. A lot of idle earners have 6-8 children when ordinarily their effort from January to December cant fend for one child.

no govt in his right mind will remove subsidy. Jonathan made the right choice to bring it back. Since the removal of subsidy the country started heading towards the doom day. It's more closer than ever.

I still haven't seen anyone drop dead since tinubu removed subsidy because he couldn't afford a bag of rice..... instead of buying a full bag in my house this Xmas,I have opted for half bag and me and my family are fine.

The IMF have never hammered on how the money will be well utilised or not wasted to corruption. The only implication now is that there money for the controllers to waste.
