The boiling ring burn many houses lipsrsealed
Yes o. Our house that year. It happened on December 26, 1999. A day after Christmas and the house was totally, completely razed down. People donated clothes, household items, foot wears, food etc to us, even panties cause we all had only the clothes on us after the incident. My friends from school made light of the situation jokingly saying the house was not millennium compliant. Looking back, we can only thank God for His immense blessings.

This thing sabi reduce current well well, and the other electric cooker that has white rings...

The boiling ring do shock me on a steady, but the one I will always remember was the day I added salt to the beans my aunt was cooking... Normally, she do boil the beans with this ring to make it soft before transferring to the stove and adding ingredients so as to preserve kerosene. But I no know wetin enter my head that day that made me to add salt, that shock was on a different level, na God save me.
THIS IS A BEANS COOKING HACK!
Big mistake when cooking beans is to add salt at the beginning or before the beans get soft. If you do that, the beans will cook forever and won't really get soft completely. In contrast, if you want the beens to cook really fast, add the salt towards the end when the beans have soften completely. This way, you'll reduce your beans cooking time by up to 70%. If you add slices of onion at the beginning the beans will soften even faster than without it.

Try it!

One harmattan period, I unplugged our evil fridge to plug this demonic boiler cos I been wan bath hot water. I ignorantly put hand inside the bucket of water to check if it's hot enough, na so this wicked boiler knack me for ground.

I stood up and unplugged the boiling ring and plug the fridge, na so the fridge also knack me for ground.

I was on the ground for over five minutes observing the fridge and the boiler. Na that day I conclude say na electric shock kill me for my former life.

Very dangerous thing. It burnt 3houses on my street back then at different duration. To avoid it melting your custard bowl, just use carton to guide the ring. Crazy boiling ring. If given enough time, it will boil the ocean. Lol
