That's the same thing one of our friends also thinks about him. That one always tell me that the guy fumbled for going the church route.

Me I dey always tell that one that u can't really judge someone based on how they reacted to a pain u've never experienced. The only fault I see with his church parole is not going to big churches like Harvesters, KICC, House on The Rock, etc to go chop money there instead of local Pentecostal churches that don't offer much financial reward to their pastors.

I am yet to see a snake.

I am even yet to see a live kangaroo. I have seen a few dead ones while travelling interstate but no live ones. I think the snakes are more prevalent in the dry and arid outbacks and the hot and humid parts. I don’t live in that sort of area.

Even the times I went to the zoo I was always told that the kangaroos were sleeping. Meanwhile I have 2 friends both of whom have had accidents were kangaroos. I think one of them has even jammed the kangaroos twice.

If people doubt NNPC and their 1 million press statements per week, it's simply because NNPC provided ground for that doubt to exist in people's mind.

NNPC has made promises countless times that has turned out to be false in the long run. This is the same NNPC that kept giving deadline for the commencement of operations of the refinery which they never meet up with.

Anybody who thinks people doubting NNPC's press statement on this whole refinery operation commencement and alleged shutdown are enemies of the country is simply a fooool who lacks gumption to ask the right questions.

The management of NNPC unprovoked held a flag off ceremony last week which lasted for a whole day where they emphatically proclaimed that the refinery was ready to start loading at least 200 trucks of PMS daily. It's been almost a week now, the people resident in that area and those who work in the same refinery have confided in at least 2 different media organizations( The punch, and Sahara reporters) who visited the refinery that the refinery has shut down operations.

Anybody who would believe Olufemi Soneye's press statements over the on-site investigative report of independent media organizations despite not seeing NNPC's refined PMS in circulation should just donate his brain to any medical researcher for experiment; He obviously doesn't need the brain anymore.

Best breakdown of the tax reform bill I've seen yet. Also explains the vociferous opposition from the North.

Finally, Jagaban seems to be cooking a meal with a pleasant aroma.

Remains to be seen if he has the balls to push it through.

For example if person graduate with 2:1 he no get job for almost 4 years of graduation,he wil do any silly stuff provided the man/woman of God promises his breakthrough is near. Most people don't do these things with clear eye, na problem push them reach that level
This is true. I know a Naija guy he went to medical school in outside US. He came to the US many years ago hoping to write his board exams, pass, get married and live a good life. He couldnt pass the exams after several tries. He started visiting one Pastor and the next and the next. One prayer line to the next to the next, one mountain to the next And they started giving him reasons like His mother traded his destiny for his siblings, he should avoid his family members, he should not eat his wifes food, He should avoid this friend and that friend. At the end he found himself in a white garment church

Away from family, away from friends, his marriage broken different struggles until he died

Jagaban go fold for this one. If he pushes it through he should forget 2nd term that is if he doesnt get assasinated. The way North dey against this bill, It will be hard extremely hard to pass

That's how one of my guys became an Assistant pastor apapandodo . This is someone who had a distinction at HND level. The whole BSc/HND dichotomy affected him, and he's been unable to get a job where he will show how smart he is.

The church was the only place he could turn to for succor cos he seemed to be meeting brick wall anywhere he turned to. He doesn't even agree with some of the things the church teaches but he has no choice since he gets stipends to keep body and soul together from them.

Anytime we meet and unwind in the gathering of men, he dey always pour out his heart. You can tell that if he gets out of this country and things soft for him, he definitely won't be living in conformity with some of those church's standard
Na person wey never face life challenges go call himself a man.

When life deals with you, you will start believing what is obviously insane. Do you know how many Oyinbos left their country to start following TB Joshua who could barely string 2 sentences together and most Nigerians believe was a fraud

Make we no see challenges wey pass our power

The fact that his own VP is even against the bill is surprising. You remember it was the VP that chaired the NEC meeting wayback when they called for the bill to be set aside from day one.

I really don't understand why the north don't want some of these things to be unbundled.

That's why I am always hesitant to to paint everybody with one brush when it comes to religious matters. Some people's problems are way too much that they just need to believe in something to stay alive.

You will some people whose only son is epileptic , an ailment they have spent millions of naira on but has defied all medical treatment. Cele prophet will collect money, Cherubim woli will collect money, Ifa Priest will collect money; even alfa will collect money for prayers all to no avail.

Because no one easily gives up their advantage. This is another test whether Tinubu get ballz so far it he has folded, I believe he will fold on this except he has no intention for 2nd term.

As a lagosian I am not gonna lie or ignore the advantages of HQs being domiciled in Lagos and the near monopoly of ports would mean for the state in the new sharing formula.

Angel Gomes, ex-Man United player who came to Synagogue for TBJ to heal him of his persistent and recurring groin injury comes to mind.

The injury frustrated him to the point he was convinced that his ordeal was spiritual.

He later claimed his mum was a fan of TBJ and she pushed him to come to TBJ

The moment problems start getting linked to the spiritual, it takes a miracle grin for such persons to breakout.

I just watched the guy's video and I now understand why Ndume and Zulum are crying. The derivation formula go really affect them o; that advantage of population & equality sharing formula they had before will vaporize

However much I'm for anything restructuring, and commend Tinubu's clear attempts at restructuring, the VAT bill might be coming a bit too early...obvious revenue-based restructuring attempts should be the icing on the cake of every aspect of the country's operation that needs be restructured. There are several other aspects of governance that need be restructured and if done could provide as much benefits as this VAT bill, and won't create as much rancor.

A bill of this nature, it should either get passed or not, any attempt to overly water it down was done with the PIB would be counterintuitive.

But they won't
That derivation won't work because they hardly contribute to tax

There are actually big factories in Kano and Kaduna who contribute to the VAT pool. The issue is just that not many northern states are as developed industrially like states in the south.

The whole destruction of alcoholic beverages as per sharia law will also come back to bite them if this new tax bill scales through. 60% of VAT will be allocated to states where VAT is generated which means that they will lose out on 60% of VAT on alcoholic beverages since they neither allow the drinks to be produced in their part of the country nor sold there.

Maybe almajiris and co will start generating tax for the governments
