The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured the final forfeiture of an estate in Abuja said to belong to the former CBN Governor,Godwin Emefiele, the largest single-asset recovery since the agency’s inception in 2003. The commission achieved this through an order of final forfeiture issued by a court in Abuja Monday. The recovered asset is a vast estate in Abuja measuring 150,500 square metres with 753 units of duplexes and other apartments. Not making any excuses for the idiot Emefiele, but I know for sure that his younger brother has been into big real estate developments in and around Abuja, right from when Godwin was at Oceanic Bank. I know this for sure because one of his friends was basically a loose friend of mine for years then, and she always talked about the mans business acumen in real estate developments, because she knows the guy a bit. . I'm not exonerating anyone. But his family has been into real estate big time, before he joined the CBN. |
