Bandits kidnapped a former House of Representative member, Hon. Joseph Haruna Kigbu and k!lled his police orderly in Nasarawa State. He was kidnapped on his way to Jos, Plateau State on Monday, December 2, 2024. The attack occurred around 6:00 p.m. between Nunku in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State and Gwantu in Sanga LGA of Kaduna State.


It was gathered that during a gun battle, the gunmen fatally shot the police escort assigned to Dr. Kigbu, who attempted to resist the abduction.


According to a source, the bandits fired sporadically, causing panic among motorists in the area.


Local villagers confirmed that the incident occurred at a location that has been a hotspot for criminal activities over the years.

Monster GEJ made for being a weak leader. All this started under him, and if he had dealt with it decisively then, like Ghana and Benin Republic did when they attempted to start this rubbish in their country, we wouldn't be here.

How can you be a President of a country and you sit there and hear that 800 of your citizens are butchered in a single night and you did nothing about it. They go to the next community and kill another 500, you still do nothing about it. That is what emboldened them to know that the Nigerian government is not ready to fight them, and they called more of their compatriots who were Gadafi's mercenaries from Niger, Chad Burkina Faso, Mali and Senegal and were jobless as of then with arms to come to Nigeria and start kidnapping.

But if GEJ had deployed just 2000 strong security team with helicopters fighter jets and all that to go after them the first time they struck, and ensure that they are completely decimated, this monster wouldn't have existed today. They say a stitch in time saves nine.
