Edygrin:Mark this date, come back to FCT in 3-6 months time and see if anything changes. Former Inspector Generals sang this song before, same as former CPs. Which policeman for example will lay his dirty claws on a G900 or Land Cruiser with OEM tinted glasses? |

Agree with the police here. For years I have always been suspicious of those who tint their car glasses. It's like...what are you hiding? Who are you hiding from? |

I hope the Nigerian police is aware that most cars from 2012 upwards comes with a slightly tinted back window. Hope they wouldn't start harassing owners of such vehicles cos that's how the car was manufactured. The enforcement should be on car owners who tint both the front and back windows. |

TUANKU:Their wahala does not cover factory tinted glasses . In other countries, there is a permissible degree of tint . If it is darker you are fined and asked to remove it . I understand the level of insecurity is high , but the police have to be much proactive by ensuring compliance . Most Nigerians with tints will rather settle and after a while pressure from powerful people will make the CP soft pedal |

nairalanda1:What exactly is the problem with tinted vehicles, the fact a driver wants to limit the amount of sun rays into his vehicle isn't none of your business. The Cp should talk about a more controlled registered vehicles from the park. Why will an individual even board a tinted vehicle. |
