Nigeria is the real Animal Farm George Orwell wrote about.
Just pray not to have trouble with powerful men in Nigeria.
Before the eye's of the judiciary and police, they will oppress that person and such person may never get Justice.

There's no sense in this......

You should charge him to court and he should go there to defend his words and not arrest him like a common criminal and throw him inside cell....

Tony is misbehaving ever since he started robbing his flat shoulder with Tinubu.

Normally anyone with the name Babalola always act with emotions and lacks sense of reality......

Dele is going to come out of this victoriously....
you read this news so?
It's a judge that sentence him.
Let him bring his evidence of all allegation abeg.

Whaoo. If he has his facts and evidences he should present them to the court. I think it is a god thing for defamation issues and cases to be settled in court. It will really help sanitise the system a bit
Sanitize which system and by who? The same system operated by those that need to be sanitized?

This should have been a civil matter, in a civil court, between Farotimi and Babalola

The Police should not have been part of this

If you feel someone has defamed you, sue for damages in a civil court, not criminal court
They need the police to arrest him from Lagos to Ekiti where justice can be bought as the complainant is well know there and have strong influence in the state…what a confused justice system

Well if correction is in the hand of who committed the wrong to whom shall we complain

Nigerians never suffer reach. We love celebrating our oppressors. Whoever chose to die in your war died in vain.

Keep celebrating in economic suppression and oppression all in the name of fighting on behalf of your state captors. Iya a je kisa si yin lara.

Extremely myopic people and nation I've ever seen in existence. So beclouded and deluded with immediate gains only.

I am sure people like only u only listen to pedestrian statements on defamation. I doubt if u have read anything independently on it.

There is a criminal aspect to defamation. It depends on the one u which to pursue if you are defamed carelessly by a loosed mouth like this arrested self acclaimed human right lawyer.

We should not be continually encourage people to go on social media, TV or radio stations to defame people carelessly abd then turn around to claim the victim when a petition is written against them for criminal prosecution by the state. Is it every individual that us defamed who has d money to pursue a civil case in d Court?........

Pls answer this simple question
Has anybody been convicted a criminal in this case?
The one that warrants swat team and rrs that moved from lagos to ekiti to abduct a person?

You are the pedestrian here o.

Encouraging people to carelessly defame people who work hard to get to where they are just because you are able to buy 1000 Naira cheap Internet data is dangerous to the society...

An individual that is defamed has the right to pursue a criminal or civil defamation case in the court depending on the degree of damages he or she has suffered.

Hence, d emotional blackmail of saying, go to court for civil action has become a broken disc. If you plan to defame ur fellow, u should be prepared to face d consequences.
