I'm not certain. Why not download your result from the test taker platform and having a copy of it with you? That way, you can upload or print it to be used in anyway needed.

Hello my people, I need your opinion to help me clarify this confusion.

- My school is listed in the Anabin DB as an H+ institutionwhich is a pass ✅
- My degree profession is also listed as an equivalent German degree, but my school is not listed among the awarding institutions.

In all of the information I have come across and digested regarding the Anabin database, none has explicitly stated that the awarding institution has to be the institution you graduated from. So I believe as long as your school is recognised, your degree doesn't necessarily have to be awarded the specific Anabin listed institution. What do you think my people, please let's brainstorm on this.

Do try to get your qualification recognised. Midwifery is a regulated profession. The process includes translation of your documents, sending them to the body that will do the recognition. This is state specific. You will now get a defizitbescheid which you will now be asked to go for further training. You will be paid while undergoing the training.
Pls should an optometrist be asked to do same? I have an Optometry degree from Nigeria and with 5 years working experience. I have 8.0 on my ielts academic and 7.5 on general training. I have a savings of 15k USD I want to use solely for japa. Then I am seeing that my degree or professional certification (license) needs to be sent for recognition. The websites I read from is in German so I just use chargpt to copy/paste and translate

Has anyone applied through the online consular portal? Is the waiting time different compared to the appointment portal? How long did it take from registration to receiving the call?

Your profession is a REGULATED field in Germany, it’s not like software development or any other tech related field that is NOT REGULATED. Both regulated and non regulated fields needs to have their certificate recognized if the applicant got his or her degree outside Germany. For non regulated fields, you go for a statement of comparability done by ZAB but for regulated fields, it’s a bit more cumbersome. Also you would need at least B1 in German language to be able to work so you have to start learning the language asap.
Also, I would advise you do some personal research as all these information are just there to be accessed by a simple google search.
Danke

It's different from the normal Anabin because Nursing and Midwifery are regulated profession. Go to the website of a body that does recognition and download their document for recognition. Usually the regeriumspraesidium of a state. The documents are free. They will say that they need a certain amount of language before they can issue you, but you can already translate documents with a dolmetsche/Dolmetscherin or Übersetzer It's not cheap. Then gather the documents and send to them while learning language if you haven't reached B1. This option opens you not only to chance card but also to other work visa options. At the
end they will tell you that your qualification is not up to that in Germany and that you will do an adaptation course. Don't worry. They will still pay you during the adaptation course. And after that you will write an exam that qualifies you as a nurse or midwife.
Thank you for your time.
Please am still not able to get the website for this verification, all the options I tried have not yield any result.
I don't know if there's an agent/agency that help with it.
Please I really don't know where to go from here.

Yes you need recognition. It's a regulated profession. So depending on the state you want to work, download the information from their regeriumpresidium on documents you need to translate and submit. I can't really give you more information on it.

Before you created an account on their portal, did you got an email from them asking you to create account and upload your documents?
When exactly did you book for appointment?

Yes I have been able to have by B.Tech degree recognized by ZAB. It takes less than 4 months to come out and you have to pay 208 euros.

Why are you using an “f” when you are male?
Is it to deceive people or attract undue favor?
Thanks 👍 for this information. I appreciate, am awaiting response from ZAB for my degree certification.

Yes I verified using ZAB and got the statement sent a few days after 3 months from the payment date. I submitted all requested documents. if not, they could have extended it
Thanks you for your response I appreciate it.

Am doing ZAB because my course of study (department) isn't on anabin, but the University and Faculty is on anabin. Example

University of Lagos H+
Bachelor's of Engineering H+
Production Engineering not found.

That's why I had to apply for ZAB
