This headline would have reverberated around the world, and be on the first page of every major newspaper in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

It would have caused further immense damage to Nigeria's reputation on the international scene.

A CBN Governor involved in such unfathomable corruption?

Nigeria would be the butt of jokes, memes, and consternation around the world.

Now that the identity of the culprit is being disclosed by 3rd parties, and not by Efcc itself, some sting has been taken out of the impact of the news, though some international media may still pick it up.

Every country attempts to hide certain very damaging information from their citizens. So this is not unusual as people are making it.

What is most important here is that the Efcc did a fantastic job in recovering the properties.

Guy you don’t know Naija at all! The reason Emefiele is not mentioned by EFFC is very likely because there are other super big men involved with him in this and they don’t want people digging more. Highly likely that these big boys are on the dinning table with the current government.

In other words, I doubt if it is anything close to national interest!!!

Any such weighty allegation from EFCC without corresponding naming and shaming will always end in the thief-catcher obtaining (or stealing) the loot and then a win-win agreement is made between the thief and the thief-catcher so that the thief gets a soft landing.

Since the name of the offender is not publicly known, nobody really follows up with the case - whether the thief is duly prosecuted or not and the thief-catcher smiles home with the loot.

Is this what you guys want?

Read the press release again you will see EFCC stated the reason they can not disclose the names of the individuals who own the properties that they only go for the properties and not the owner of the properties but here we have court documents mentioning the names of the properties owners, Now tell me, who is now daft between you and Sowore? They release a statement after they were challenged about it saying they won't tell the name of the person because the suit and court case didn't allow for it which was a lie which sowore later exposed by getting the court documents.

The EFCC has now deleted that statement.

Even the EFCC conceded that they did wrong after proof was brought. So, you see that you're the daft one.

Not forgetting that if it were students suspected of internet fraud, without even winning or even taking the case to court, the EFCC will publish their faces and full government names.
Talk about double standards.

No Registrar of a Court, will issue out the Documents you are referring to, when the case is still pending determination.
It is said to be Sub Judice.
Disclosing Names during an proceeding/Investigation, can jeopardize the case, in some instances.

Now that the case is determined and final forfeiture has been granted, you can start using Freedom of Information to get the Documents.

Even at that, some of the Names in the Documents can be redacted, if the Court feels it need to do so, to protect the identity of "special interests" like Informants,
