The looting mechanism in nigeria is second to non in the world The level of corruption in nigeria is second to non in the world Some bipolar people might come here to deny this but it is the fact. For some of us that have travelled far and wide. We know this What is looted in nigeria daily, if such amount is looted in France for just one year, the economy of France will collapse Both Public (especially public) and private insts not exempted It is in nigeria a civil servant will steal an amount and build 200 estates and afford million dollar properties outside the country etc This current administration not even doing anything about this because they themselves are here to............... ![]() |

The people who are primarily engaging in stealing our money from the national coffers are telling the nation that corruption has brought the country to her knees. Lobatan! LOL. Nigerian, what a country. |

JAOS:Agreed but corruption is still doing press up with the way the country is now cos people who wants to steal from the treasury are more than the small chunk of people stealing now. It is well |

We all know that. Even the agencies with the role of tackling corruption seem to revel in corruption, with officials receiving bribes in different forms to subvert the course of Justice. The police particularly is a complete disgrace to its the way some personnel openly receive or solicit bribes. For the entire security officials, their uniforms appear private businesses. Their guns serve as tools of intimidation and coercion. Customs at the borders make imports and exports hell with businesses. For every transaction, there is a cost to be given to them as bribe. Even those assigned to arrest crooked officials end up receiving bribes to let them off the hook. What about the ministries and parastatals. To carry files to the next table involves bribes. To see high ranking officials requires bribes. To secure contracts required bribes. WAEC and JAMB involve bribes. Even this ICPC official may be a bribe beneficiary. Trucks transporting food from the north to the south spend close to one million in bribes to give to all manners of security agents. The agents too are very shameless. The long traffic jam experienced on the highways are caused by bribe taking soldiers and policemen. Is the President willing to tackle corruption? Let’s wait and see. For me it is a doubt. During the campaigns, we saw money passing between him and his vice to someone. Can he be trusted to tackle corruption? We dey siddon look. |

Honestly oooo, the corruption index can't be compared, APCs 16 years in Power will be worse than PDPs 32 years in Power, All we need is for a new government to take over and Expose their ills.. |

...... any person of integrity with capacity to fight corruption can never be allowed near Aso rock by the "powers that be" both within and outside Nigeria. In fact the more corrupt, occultic/satanic a person is the better their chances of getting in to Aso rock -ask emilokan whose "otumopo" and occult credentials was way stronger than the others. The situation is so bad it defies any known human solution, it's become so normal like oxygen !! May OLODUMARE hasten the expiry date. |

That's just it but let's not stop at lamentations but see how to highlight the effects of corruption in government and how to address and eradicate it. Create real and effective mechanisms in government to aggressively stop corruption b4 it ruins this country. The Tax bill is only about sharing money and sharing formula in government to sane criminals. it does not eliminate corruption so as regards the masses nothing will change. stealing and mismanagement will continue. Icpc and efcc are jokes. |

Knees still get hope na... it has brought Nigeria down flat.🙄 There is a reason that this organization and others were established, but they seem to work in a selective manner to tackle corruption with some of them even being part of the corruption they are supposed to checkmate. |

Even the ICPC, EFCC are themselves corrupt. They are the ones teaching public servants how to hide their loot for a part of the booty |
