Allthelight:
if only he signed a better deal with Israel and turkey he won't be in this situation
Iike I said Russia can't try what they are doing in their neighborhood in the middle east
What kind of deal?

He already signed a deal with Turkey.
He does not engage Israeli jets when they strike Iranian interests.

Any "better" deal with those two is essentially agreeing to be booted out whenever either feels like it.

Assad's mistake, which may end up being fatal, is that he did not build multiple layers of fortifications.
Ukraine erected fortifications pre-SMO. They contribute to Russia's piecemeal advance.
Russia did not build fortifications in Kharkov, Izyum prior to Ukraine's shock offensive, and we saw how quickly Ukraine advanced.
Fortifications buy time. Especially in modern drone-centric warfare.

If there were fortifications, the terrorists would have lost a lot of their offensive capabilities trying to take Aleppo.
Syria will then be able to regroup in Homs, then beef up Hama, before planning a counteroffensive.
Mobilization takes time.

Assad is now forced to pull all his forces to Damascus to mount a Hail Mary defense. leaving his allies in the rest of Syria at the mercy of their sectarian enemies.

If Assad gets out of this quagmire, Iran should twist his arms until they're authorized to play a more active role in the security architecture.
If Hezbollah had the same support and materiel as the SAA, they'll be in Turkey. Iraq is a fortress.
Meanwhile these twats couldn't build fortifications. They couldn't even mine or blow up a bridge to stall the advance.

It so funny seeing some comments here. To the best of my knowledge I don't think any pro west or pro Israel commentator supports terrorist groups.
Some pro west guys wants assad to remain. The US and the European Union were the very first to designate the HTS a terrorist organisation.

It strange seeing our friends from the other side of the divide suddenly growing a conscience. Suddenly they are now concerned about the peace of the world at large.

The same people who supporst a certain Russia who without provocation invaded a smaller neighbour which has resulted In hundreds of lives being lost. The same peace loving people who were clamouring for nukes to be used in Ukraine. Massive airstrikes on Ukrainian cities.

The same people who are now against the terrorist group HTS but supports certain "peaceful" groups like hamas, hazebolla and the Houthis. These "peace loving" groups which are know for there peaceful acts like suicide bombings, killings, kidnapping etc.

We do not supports the HTS but I sure do love how its goes about its business in Syria 😎

Read his words below

. What makes African and third-world debt different from the American debt? Number one, America is never gonna pay its debt. It doesn't have to. It can. Its debts are in its own currency. We can simply print it.

The African debt is not in its currency. The African debt is in US dollars. Africa has to earn US dollars, and the only way it can earn US dollars is not to be assassinated for growing its own food and becoming independent and doing something that the United States does not like.

The principle underlying the foundation of the World Bank is that no country should grow its own food. Africa and the third world should only grow export crops to export in order to have an oversupply of cocoa and other tropical raw materials to keep down the price. They must buy their grain from the United States or Europe. So that if they do something that we don't like, we can say, 'We're going to starve you. We're going to not export any grain to you.'"

Gbadebo19:
Excuse me, but please do you know anything about the Golan Heights?
Golan Height is Syria territory stolen by Israel after 6 days war. The UN asked Israel to return it but it refused. The indigenous people of Golan Height consider themselves Syrians.

But when Donald Trump was president the first time he single handedly annexed Golan Height as part of Israel but according to United Nations, Golan Height is recognized as Syria. Till now, indigenous Golan Height dont see themselves as Israelis.

You guys just give excuses Assad has refused any serious negotiation with anybody.

How can you say for more than 10 years you didn't form any government as a negotiation
Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Allthelight(m): 8:59pm On Dec 06, 2024
You had 10 years to come up with a serious deal but like the Palestinians you just fail.

Hezbollah is degradated
Russia is occupied
If Iran deploys soldiers in Syria Israel will attack them.

I think it is just laziness by the president

Two identical trains ran simultaneously on different routes during Biden's visit to Kyiv in February 2023, the NYT writes.

One of them was a "ghost train," the other was real, with Biden, the newspaper reports. This was necessary so that no one would know which one was carrying the US president.

Anti-Russian policy supporter Elena Lasconi called the cancellation of the results of the first round of the presidential elections in Romania illegal, reports the Digi24 TV channel.

Let us recall that she took second place in the voting. The first place went to Calin Georgescu, who criticized NATO and military aid to Ukraine.

"This decision of the Constitutional Court is illegal and immoral. This is the moment when the Romanian state trampled democracy," Lasconi said.

According to her, the vote should have continued as a sign of respect for the will of the Romanian people.

Today, the Constitutional Court of Romania annulled the results of the first round of the presidential elections. The country's Prosecutor General's Office opened two criminal cases for "election interference," Digi24 reports.

Italians are becoming increasingly hostile to the West, and most of them do not believe that the "Western democratic system" works.

The National Institute for Social and Economic Research Censis surveyed Italian citizens. Here are the results:

▪️70.8% believe that Western countries are trying to impose their economic and political models on others;

▪️66.3% are confident that the West, and first and foremost the United States, are the main culprits of the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East;

▪️According to 51.1%, Western countries will lose their economic and political positions against the backdrop of the growth of countries such as China and India.

The number of deserters in Ukraine could be more than 100,000 - not far from the 160,000 troops that Kiev needs to mobilize, Bloomberg writes.

Since 2022, about 96 thousand criminal cases have been opened against military personnel who left their positions. Most of them were opened this year. In some cases of AWOL, there are up to 20-30 defendants.

One of the soldiers told the agency that Ukrainian soldiers are less afraid of the consequences of leaving their post or speaking out against their commander.

These changes are taking place amid complaints from military servicemen that they have to contend with an inflexible military bureaucracy, Bloomberg notes. Transferring to another unit requires permission from the very commander from whom they want to leave.

In France, Pavel Durov was questioned for the first time on the merits in a Paris court as part of the case against him, AFP reports.

According to the agency, the founder of Telegram did not comment on the progress of the case and the charges against him, but said that he “trusts the French justice system.”
