Good morning house, for two months after my last interview I have been unable to create another appointment. It keeps showing me ‘pending appointment request’ from the last interview. Please does anyone know how I can go about this I already raised a ticket and called them multiple times.

I had a chat with them two days ago and a lady responded (I was able to know by her name) and said I must wait and ended the chat while I was still communicating with her and I messaged again yesterday and a guy responded nicely and said I should send ticket and he would forward my details to the team but nothing was done on that day and I reached out today in the morning and a guy apologised for the delay and also promised to send my details to the team and I should create another ticket and I should be expecting an email soon. Still no approval yet. I messaged again after some hours in the afternoon and a guy whom I thought was having a bad day responded and didn't show any interest of helping and he reluctantly said he would only help by forwarding my details to his supervisor and stayed on the chat for almost 30 mins or more without responding to my messages and later ended the chat.
Please, what do you think I should do and how many times did you chat them before your approval?

Good morning, I really know how u are feeling about the delay of the pre approval request ,what I can say is just keep chatin them,most especially put it into prayer .I can't really say if it is the chatin or email that serve as a catalyst to my approval....

Personally, I think all these issues are as a result of gross incompetence in the part of the visa appointment team.

There is no issue that can't be resolved.

If they are overwhelmed, let them employ more competent people to handle this business.

There's nothing that can't be resolved.

I don't think they will try this in the US.

They are pretty much aware that Nigerians has no choice.

How can someone fast and pray to apply for visa and still fast and pray to get appointment date and on top of that there is still the possibility of getting denied. Aaaaah!

The avits software is totally rubbish. Poor design, poor UI/Ux.

It can't just successful perform the simple taste it was created for. And they are doing nothing about it.

If it's not working or serving the purpose, let them take it down!

The engineer/developer ought to be arrested.
The customer service, again dead!

You create ticket, you are not even sure if it will be responded or attended to.

We the visa applicants shouldn't suffer these. They are not our fault.

But we are Nigerians, we can afford to be paying servis/visa fee as long as we want, because we have no choice. And we don't even have a voice.

Hello boss, please i also tried it this way and it worked but now im trying to proceed to booking a date and whenever i put the information required at the next phase which are "post" "upload ds-160" "travel date" it kept bringing error "query did not return unique result" when i proceed. dod you faced this or you know anyone that did?? quite urgent please. Thank you.

Hello ,for ur information, it is not only affecting nigeria alone..if u visit reddit you will see how other country complain about the error we too are complaining..

I’m reaching out to see if anyone has a solution to this issue or has experienced something similar and can share how they resolved it.

When attempting to create a new application on the site, it keeps flagging a "duplicate user/account" error. According to some discussions on the Nairaland forum, this seems to be linked to the passport number used during the registration process. It was suggested that altering a single digit in the passport number might allow you to proceed to the next stage, where the account is generated to pay the application fee. The idea is to use the "new" passport number with the altered digit to complete the payment, which supposedly resolves the duplicate account issue.

I would like to confirm if anyone has successfully tried this method or has an alternative solution to the duplicate account problem. I have submitted numerous tickets about this, but no action has been taken so far. Customer care keeps advising me to submit more tickets, which hasn’t helped either.

If anyone has a working solution or advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

I need an urgent assistance with respect to my US visa B1/B2 renewal. I applied for drop box waiver interview and the appointment date was a week to the conference I am attending. I requested for an emergency appointment which was not granted. My question now is, is it possible to convert the drop box waiver appointment to physical interview appointment?

If yes, how do I go about it?

I deferred my admission to January 2025 because I couldn't get date before fall 2024. I was given December 9 which is tomorrow. Do I need to update my new start date on the former ds 160 which it seems I have no access again.

Make a new ds160 just in case. But raise it with the vo

Thanks for the insight. Actually did all the correspondence almost daily this week and have 10tickets and 0opened, called, created another ticket 7am this morning again, uploading all the loadables and only keep getting mails that our requests have been published yet no change in the pre-approval stage yet.
It is well.

I think you should try and be patient, and stop raising multiple tickets, its likely increasing the confusion for the avits peeps.

Same here too oo. And it's more than a month. I also had a chat them this week and sent another email. I hope they will respond soon

Has anyone been able to upload I20 recently to pass the Preapproval Request page. The numbers of days people have been stuck on that stage in this thread is shocking.

I just got to that stage today and I'm already frustrated. Please if you know any means to pass this stage, kindly help
