The thing is, we the followers are just as corrupt as our leaders. This is exactly what I told a Nairalander who believes that our leaders are the ones holding us back. He claimed that if we could eliminate our leaders, everything would be okay. In response, I said to him:

Na people like you I hate pass for this life.

You see truth you no go talk.
You see injustice, you go comot eye
Because e no affect you directly.

When you come see person wey no be coward like you wey get courage to talk the truth, you will turn him into a bad person.

His coming out openly will do a lot to stop producers from extorting and cheating actors of their worth.

Stop supporting thieves.

See how Pandora Bitter Obi is defending nonsense government profligacy below.

[quote author=NLCreator post=126854133]Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.

There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.

Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.

The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.

While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.

“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.

“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.

“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”

Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.

basket mouth is indirectly shading Funke Akindele because :according to him, she promised to help with his film and did not later pick up his calls when he called her.
very childish behavior. if you like shade from now till eternity, it wont stop their shine.

Your mentality got Nigeria to where it is today.

You see crime, fraud, malpractice and corruption, but you keep mute because it does not affect you personally while it’s killing others.
It's a very terrible mentality.

And those that sound that way are not among the 1% o!

A lot of Nigerians need serious mental detox.

No be government do this one o. Na average citizen.

Sometimes I find it hard to pity the average Nigerian because I know that if they find themselves in positions of power, they will do the same as the leaders they hate.

How wickedness and being mago mago comes easily for Nigerians still dey shock me. Life is easy when you are just good (not nice) and straight forward. Na wa

My recent experience left a bitter taste in my tongue because I wondered why someone could not just be straightforward and honest. I don't want to be your friend or date you—just be honest and straightforward. Honestly, sometimes, I wonder if I was born and bred in Nigeria and went to public schools.

Being straightforward and honest makes life easy. Minimalism is now a trendy word among millennial, but true minimalism comes from the inside. The kind of freedom one feel by living uprightly.

But I admit, its easy to be straightforward when you have lots of tools to navigate the world with. If one has no education, no skills, poor, and is surviving in a mode where there is no economical mobility, then there is less incentive to be honest.

in a country where almost 80% of the population are just scraping by, nature will be in full effect. And in nature, survival is more important than having integrity.
