I was told not to build privately, but to build publicly as a self-taught developer.

I've gotten pretty good with HTML and CSS; now I've dived into the world of JavaScript, which isn't easy at all cry. I thought I should start writing about my journey for others to learn from and be encouraged. But if I give up along the line, please continue on your own cheesy.

I'll quickly share how I used my phone to start coding, then got a laptop, and my self-taught process of learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, writing each code. Apparently, we'll be learning together. I'll come back frequently to update.

Considering Nigeria's current situation and being from an average background trying to break the shackles of poverty, having at least two or more sources of income is unfortunate but necessary.

I learned about software development from a friend, which sparked my interest. I browsed more and got hooked. Unfortunately, I didn't have a laptop initially, so I used my phone. My friend recommended SoloLearn. Learning was fun; seeing my code come to life was fascinating, like "let there be light, and there was light cheesy."

During my NYSC period, I saved up and got the laptop I'm using now. I didn't just wake up to this. Life sometimes rewrites our stories. I could have chosen fashion design or keep practicing as a lawyer, but I also find peace and comfort in becoming a full-stack developer, even without a computer science degree.

In essence, find your path; ensure it aligns with your goals and you find peace doing it. If becoming a full-stack developer is what you want, come back here, and let's learn together. I'll try my best to keep us motivated, hopefully we find what we're looking for.

I don't have much gigs, but I'd advise creating a portfolio and applying for Nigerian gigs and Reddit they work.

The first mistake was deleting the first comment of having her number!

But when it comes to things like these - learning hard things, bro, it's best you go solo!
