I can't disrespect God in any form. And this post isn't meant to downplay his supremacy and sovereignty.
I have observed a lot in this life, and each time, I can't stop asking myself this question. Why do people suffer?. They work hard, they are good, they pray, yet, suffer even more. You pray and it looks like nothing is happening. It gets worse.
Why all these diseases and famines? Why does he allow evil rulers. I'm saying all these with peculiarity to Nigeria where I live.

Sometimes, I am left without any option than to believe those who say God hardly exists.

That's because you have refused to look at these things from God's own side. You uphold your perspective of the world, sin and good above God's REVEALED truth. People like you(I may speak as a critic here) are proud and rebellious. You always reject the truth in your face for what you think or assume.

If everyone simply called the name of God and he answered easily(which requires a stage of understanding and maturity), everyone would have only been calling him only when they need him and then go back to the world when they have what they need.

But God is seeking a relationship, he is willing to reward those that diligently seek him.
It is in this phase of seeking God that people suffer(tho especially because of lack of knowledge) and it is in this phase that most turn back

The answer is simple but you won't like it. There's no god anywhere that cares about your personal well-being. All of us are at the mercy of time and chance.

It's not because of Sin.
Not that God wants you to continue sinning.
But he won't ignore anyone because of Sin. That is exactly what Jesus came to pay for.
Do you know how much God loves everybody. The Parable of the prodigal son describes how happy the Father was that he threw a party and had the biggest animal killed for the event.

The love of God for everyone is the kind of love that makes a Father watch his Firstborn killed and not do anything so that his other children can always come back to him anytime they fall into sin and he is always more and more happy to accept them back. 😇

It's not a matter of belief. Observe the world around you, bad things happen to all classes of people without discrimination, even children suffer cancer. Even if you manage to remove man made problems, we still have natural issues to contend with. Earthquakes, tsunamis, violent weather, famine, diseases and pandemics, the list is lengthy.

And you still think some kind and benevolent entity is watching over this shit show?

In fact Jesus said "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I would give you rest

Psalm 23 "The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want(lack) he makes to lay down(not labour around) in the green pasture.He leads me beside still waters(not waters that you would have to struggle to take from)"

Look at the story of Job! He was righteous in Job 1:1. Yet God tried him with him losing his health, wealth and children.

If na some them go reason village people or start Shiloh or crusade, etc. Job stood with God. In the end everything was replaced in multiples for him.

Not everyone will even be as lucky as Job! Look at his first sets of children he lost. They died in their father's trial. That's where their destiny ends.

You are never God's children at all cos God no born anybody!

God do not want people to labour to get eternal life. That has nothing to do with people labouring for money to feed their family and enjoy their lives.
You see this issue of people labouring to get money, if you don't labour, whether you are a child of God or not, you will suffer, that's how God want it to be

Faith has nothing to do with Christians labouring for their money.

If they fail to labour, on top of their faith they will suffer
