President Bola Tinubu remains hopeful about the advancements his administration is achieving, even in light of public dissatisfaction. During the graduation ceremony of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja on Saturday, Tinubu—represented by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu—noted that although the country is encountering substantial challenges, there are indications of positive change. He commented, "There are developments occurring in our country today. People might not appreciate us or may disagree with a few aspects, but fundamentally, things are shifting. Nigeria will transform." The president recognized the significant economic challenges facing Nigeria but promised citizens that better days are ahead. "The economy is shifting, presenting us with very tough and substantial challenges. However, I can assure you that better days are on the horizon," he stated. Tinubu reiterated his administration's commitment to national security, stressing a zero-tolerance approach towards individuals of dubious character, no matter where they are situated. He declared, "Whether you're in Nigeria or abroad, if you have committed wrongdoing, you'll face consequences. We will pursue and bring you to justice."
