I honestly feel we are less effective when Partey plays right back, our transition is greatly hampered by that.

I seriously don’t get how Zinchenko is injured haven been on the bench for long resting, and had only just played his first start on Wednesday. Like, make it make sense.

I saw Odegaard get kicked twice in the game, yet continued to press on. We have so many weak and unintelligent players in our squad that we need to move on from.

It was an unlucky day for us that now, I don’t know if we are still in the race again self.

I no just understand Dave and his obsession for a striker. Yes we know we need a striker but making Lacazette as an example of the striker that would've scored in this kinda match is just funny. grin

Lacazette that I named non-scoring striker because he actually doesn't as much as a striker is expected to, Dave carry am dey do example of striker wey fit score in this kind of game.

Lacazette is just a less skillful and more passionate version of Gabriel Jesus. Scoring goals is not his forte at all

At this rate, shey we no go give Sterling run of games and bench Martinelli?

We may be here shouting Kai up and down. That our left wing worse. It is limiting our flow.
Martinelli had no business being offside for that goal. Wetin even vex me pass na that rubbish yellow card.

Gabriel gats find time to teach Partey et al how to nod ball. Two consecutive games Parteey could have scored from corners and messed it up in both instances.

Arteta fumbled signing Sterling instead of signing any decent LW/RW on the market.

Martinelli just dey play but he's guaranteed a place in the team whether as a starting player or as a sub. I'm sure Trossard will feel gutted today that he was subbed off less than 60 minutes even when he come off from bench for martinelli he always comes much later in the game.

Martinelli just dey chop awoof because of his defensive game play

That Sterling na awoof signing. It was not planned at all.

I think the substitution was pre-planned as we have UCL in midweek.

Heard our owners were hell-bent on selling players first before buying. Could be why Edu resigned. Just saying.

Focus-better shot
Timeframe-pre-arteta and currently at Lyon

If that yeah. Gives an idea how terrible kai is at shots as well.

Lacazette was never a good striker, he was just there. Remember we've had this discussion before now, Auba came long after he joined and scores more goals than he did.

Lacazette is more similar to Gabriel Jesus than he is to Havertz.

Jodera:
I once suggested this especially when Saka go jump leg against Brighton when that contact would have been a pure pk and a possible 3pts

I noticed most top teams have high frequency PKs and that's because they exploit any trailing legs expertly. It's no crime to do that at all especially when the defenders are careless. Against Bournemouth last season, after our huffing and puffing, it was smart play by Havertz to cleverly force a pk from Bournemouth keeper that opened the flood gates(2nd leg). Same thing against Crystal palace first leg when Nketiah forced a pk from their keeper (which resulted in our only goal of the game).
Odegaard had exact same scenario as Saka(vs Brighton) against Bournemouth last season (1st leg) and he quickly exploited the defender's carelessness.

It's not always nice to be "righteous" especially in football. We were during Wenger time and we saw how it backfired spectacularly.
Where's jodera ooo?

I am shocked the goal was disallowed for an offside. Although, I didn't watch the match but from what I saw this morning it doesn't look like an offside goal.

Despite writing the qualities he has over Kai, you keep jumping to a whole new discussion that i never started. Is that hard to see. I outlined it and you still write all these? undecided

When it comes to shooting, there is NOTHING Kai has over Lacazette. Take it or leave. Do you think the goal he scored versus Liverpool without looking at the net, Kai can ever dream of that? As for Kai, until he does double figures like Laca b2b2b, he's can't be better than Lacazette in goalscoring. That's another take it or leave it. If you guys like, laugh off my desire for a striker as usual. Thank God I've outlined the profile of the kind of striker already. Till then

His leg was behind the offside line while Tete and co, their legs were onside. Leg ruined that goal. Tete did a fast jump like Gabriel as the ball was about to be passed to Martinelli. GM should be smarter than that. But that jump made the difference. That was also a 1st headed goal by Saka in how many years. I wished it counted. cry

Thank you davep. That was painful to be honest. It means it will be 9 points gap if Liverpool win their outstanding game.

Another season

Our Top rival of last 3 season are in their worst form and we are barely 2 points ahead of them. I've always talked about the getting deputies for our most reliable attack threats but it looks like when they are not showing up, the entire team finds it hard to show up. Hence we need to treat that left wing as an emergency. 2 seasons and we still can't get a better replacement. Now, new rival is in town and they've given us 10points gap. Did City even give us such gap by GW15?
Measure up or Outsmart them in all departments that make them click.

I want GM to be benched abeg. A better wing will make him either sit up or get out. You can't rely on him for a consistent outcome. It's like he dey play chess with Gunners loyalty. Cos when fans complain and face front, he'll now score/assist. Those ones will now do fast U-turn and fight those tha want him off. They'll keep changing sides on his matter, while no improvement whatsoever.

"He defends well" excuse

Saka defends way better than him and still becomes out best attack threat.

He used to be great at 1v1 but he's had 7 1v1 and lost all in last 20 games he played.

That left wing needs January window solution. It needs to come alive when things on the right wing don't.
