The ticket I created regarding the issue, they already put it on hold and they said that they will escalate it to the relevant department. I just pray it's resolved this week

Sincerely, like i had mentioned earlier, we had raised tickets, chatted the customer care of the embassy and even called, all to no avail.
Just kept getting mails that the tickets have been published. Mind you, after uploading the I-20, there was no encounter with error messages with our applications.
However, when raising tickets, there were difficulties uploading all the documents- I-20, screenshot of Avits page, Sevis fee receipt, DS-160, MRV PAYMENT RECEIPT. Eventually got past that by scanning all the documents to JPEG and resizing all of them into 1file less than 1MB.
When uploading before Pre-approval, files were in PDF but when raising tickets, we changed them to JPEG and were finally able to upload.
Yesterday, we just did nothing but kept checking our portal. We remembered Chemist4life saying he saw his approval after 6pm and so we checked about that time and saw a notification and voila! The pending approval request had been granted. We just noticed our tickets were being closed by the hour until one was left open. Unknown to us, we had been approved since afternoon.
We were able to book 2 appointment dates together , same day and same time.
I can't say we did anything special except to wait and pray in faith after uploading our documents rightly on Friday.
My inference is that except all your uploads and documents are specifically sent in the right format, your Pre-approval stage will be stuck.(I could be wrong).

Please I’d be happy if someone can help me out… I’ve been stucked in the pre approval request stage for about 2 weeks now and I’ve paid my MRV fee and SEVIS fee. I’ve been emailing them with my proof of payment and I-20 but nothing yet. Tho while i was trying to upload my I-20 on the AVITS website, I encountered as issue whereby the size of my I-20 is larger than the required size but i wasn’t notified about that until when I clicked submit and i wasn’t asked to re upload… it just said it has been uploaded successfully… can someone hem me out please?
Is that the reason the pre approval request stage is been delayed?

This AVITS website or the customer support, perhaps both, seems like the most useless advancement at the point. I’m really talking from frustration right now.

How can someone make a payment since last month, and you say it is reflecting but I am still not able to schedule an appointment. The only thing I can do is wait? Will waiting make get an earlier date to book an appointment with the embassy? Omg I’m so frustrated right now. I even called my bank to confirm this and they told me that AVITS has received the payment. I’ve called and called and called, the only thing I hear is-WAIT. Nothing to help.
Then if they want to help, they’ll say it has been escalated to the support desk. Well, I might have to say both you and the support desk needs vitamins in your system because the rate at which you’re moving is incredibly slow.

Then the other response I hear is, other people are having this issue too. Okay, what does that information do for me, BECAUSE I AM RESUMING IN JANUARY Fgs😭😭😭. I genuinely don’t know what to do again. But if I had another $185, I’d just go and pay it fr but I no get o. Jisossss😭😭😭💔💔

I'm also having this same issue. I'm frustrated also because am supposed to resume on 10th of January 2025. I payed my Mrv since October and Is yet to reflect on my profile. I try messaging them but they always give me different stories. I would just call them tomorrow sha

This is unclear please. How did you merge multiple JPEGs into one JPEG?

I guess you didn't wait. Sometimes, they dont show up on time. Immediately, the customer care person is online, it will automatically show a sign for you to type your message.

Good morning am a bit confused here , when I opened appointment request , I only filled my details ,passport details, but there was no place to upload . Next it took me to payment part which I have being stucked for over a month. also I noticed people talking about preapprival of documents which I did not go through

Dates from yesterday till the 24th.
For those that asked, MRV payments was done on the 21st of November(Thursday), got to the Pre-approval stage
on the 25th(Monday). Granted approval to schedule on the 9th of Dec.

After you upload your documents, You will be passed on to the Pre-approval stage. That stage is a pending request to allow you to schedule your interview dates. That's also the waiting phase, where you wait until you are approved with a mail informing you your request has been approved with instructions on how to proceed. You will still be asked some questions particularly if you have been refused a visa before and whether you have a valid visa and in what category. After answering those prompts, the last prompt gives you access to the dates after clicking on the location you want to be interviewed .
