Adeleke is working no doubts. He's one of the best performing governors presently in Nigeria. Most indigenes of Osun are behind him but he needs to be smarter because Tinubu led APC arw desperate to snatch and run with Osun. They're playing politics with this airport. They'll capitalize on it to distabilize him. He should quickly ignore the project altogether. Osun is not really well poised for an international airport. He should embark on another high class project in Ido Osun like, starting a health college or a state owned Polytechnic or any other viable institute to win back his support among the indigenes of Ido. Don't let them politicize this airport and use it to spoil your good reputation. Tinubu is a bad politics player. You can't win him. Just ignore and move as you focus on your reelection. |

It is like moving something from one corner of a room to another corner - probably a corner that is closer to the door. Those guys protesting should go and look for work to do. The new location is far better for Osun state and a lot more accessible for people from all parts of the state. Airport is not a birth right of any town or village in Osun and it is not just for the people of a particular place. Therefore, the location must be one that benefits the state in general. . 1 Like |

Why not focus on actually building the airport to continue from the previous government instead of relocating. His own project can be a rail line linking the two areas is that not better for the state? |
