Until we grow fond of Jesus and not man, we will keep on having this kind of issue.

Are you going to Shiloh because of an individual or because you want to experience God the more?

Mind you I am not a member of Winners and i can't remember ever attending their programs so don't see it from a place of being a hater of Bishop Abioye.

Though I have seen snippet of his teachings and like them and his personality.
You won't understand if you don't attend shiloh.

Ah MadamVanessa, you were de hate Yoruba with everything, still de follow Yoruba man church . grin grin Abi you're always bittered and toxic in politics, but have a difference view in religion. grin

Concerning the topic, I observed that too. Omò church na family business, the earlier we know this , the better for all of us. If you like go and be a slave for a pastor, when the time comes you'll be ditched.
I don die 😂 😂 😂 see name 😂😂😂😂

This has been the feeling of most members on social media. Even if it's about succession, the bishop should have stated he wants his son,but still leave Abioye to continue in the ministry.
Shiloh first night was u unlike the others.

The reason people are complaining is that Bishop Abioye served winners almost all his adult life. At 63 years where do you want him to start from. 63 years is still young in ministry to retire but almost late to start afresh
Am not in support of his retirement and because am an insider in the ministry, I cannot not tell you the full details for the action , both Oyedepo and Abioye know me by my name and I love them, but God who call Abraham at 75 years and call Moses at 80 years and both men still became very successful, I pray same God will make Abioye very successful and if he open his ministry branch in Lagos or Canada am going to be one of the first members

They won't miss Jesus, talk about jesus or even worship God. Rather they are worshipping and salivating over the absence of a mere mortal,a scam and God of man.
Na bitterness go kill you last last the way you are going. So because u love Jesus, you should not miss the person you see. Even the apostles love themselves and protect themselves. Does that mean you don't love Jesus

I deeply felt the absence of Pastor Abioye at this year's Shiloh. I thought despite being retired , he would still be present, but it was so shocking that he was not there.

Watching the event on TV yesterday, I couldn't help but feel a strong sense of longing. I've grown to admire and appreciate Pastor Abioye greatly, and his absence was deeply felt by me yesterday. I am not a Winners, but honestly I love BISHOP ABIOYE so much .
Women with worshipping Pastor are 5 & 6.
You didn't talk about how the Shiloh revived or impacted your life spiritually yet you were disconnected cos you missed pastor Abioye

I don't think so

We humans always judge from our limited perception

We think having a big church makes us great before God Almighty

You will be surprised that Bishop Abioye is considered much greater before God Almighty

Big church, Big ministry, Great wealth etc is considered amongst Men as great achievements

But before God those things doesn't really matter

That's why Christ said in the Bible that in judgement many will say I did mighty things in His Name

But He will tell them depart from me you workers of Iniquity

What is highly of Great value before God is in Galatians 5 vs 22; fruit of the spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, goodness, gentleness, Faith, meekness against this there's no law

If Christians model there life's according to Galatians 5 vs 22, our world will be a better place

We will reflect the virtues of Christ more to a dark world.

Re: Bishop Abioye's Absence At This Year Shiloh Is Deeply Felt By Me. by PissInside:
Bishop Abioye is missing this event for the very first time in it's 25 years history.

Even Bishop Aremu is absent too.....

The relationship is definitely strained.

Pastors Eneche and Ibiyeome were very wise to have left early and start their own ministry now the two of them have the biggest church auditoriums in Nigeria.

Bishop Abioye was too loyal......God bless that man.

People like him are tribalistic...he will always misconstrue any negative comment of present government as hate against yoruba nation

Abioye was the only one that gave Winners Chapel a positive look outside. Now he's gone, Oyedepo and his family Plc have taken over fully. Yesterday it's was Steve Ogah his Son in law coordinating. Then Bishop Oyedepo himself preached. This morning it was Pastor David Oyedepo jnr. preaching and later mummy Faith Oyedepo. And I said what a sad scenario iam witnessing. If after 40 yrs all the leadership you can boast of is just you and your family members.

No matter what's going on, i sincerely hope none of the Bishops speak or preach against each other. They should just teach Christ and the scriptures wherever they are

Re: Bishop Abioye's Absence At This Year Shiloh Is Deeply Felt By Me. by sslcrypt: 6:50pm On Dec 11, 2024
I stopped worshipping in the church a while ago because I realized I prefer the teachers, who are always the 2nd in command of all the churches. My spirit couldn't just take the whole random testimony and words coming out of the mouths. With the teachers I was engaged with the Bible whole heartly and could go back home and continue studying.

It's bad
You are supposed to grow to admire Jesus and God and not a man.
If the absence of a man is felt in any religious gathering, I feel there is a problem somewhere.
It is the absence of God that should be felt more if at all it's even possible in any gathering based on the name of Jesus.
As long as God is there, no absence should be felt. Instead, in the presence of God there is fullness of Joy

Abraham lived for 175 years so he still lived another 100 years after receiving his call at 75 years. Who lives for that long in our dispensation? I know Bishop Abioye is made and will succeed in whatever he begins now but you know the limitations of age.

Forget the photo Ops at the retirement ceremony.

All is not well.

He was not there because he was not invited.

Bishop Abioye is vibrant and should have not been let go. He still has a lot to offer His generation

The young ministers conference he started won't sit well in some quarters.

Take it to the bank. The relationship is strained and things will never be the same
U mean he didn't attend this year Shiloh?but i saw somebody looking like him sitting before a woman that sat before david oyedope... please tell me,did he not attend the church at all?
