Hello everyone,
This security guy called Rapheal from Ajao estate, Oshodi was sent to get table water for a neighbour. The neighbour gave him his ATM card. After some minutes the neighbour kept receiving alerts amounting to more than 1 million naira. He hasn't been found since then.
His phone has been switched off too.

The last transaction was done in Ikorodu.
Please, any information leading to his arrest would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How can the neighbour be so lazy and careless? Just imagine willingly giving out your ATM card to a stranger in these times.

The level of carelessness exhibited by the so called neighbor is mind boggling. Try making a report to have his account frozen asap.

I don't think you know how far Nigerians go to show off.

He probably thought the boy would just check balance, return home then start giving him maximum respect from then on.

I'm somehow happy with the boy.
I hope he never recovers the money.

If i manage to give u my atm (as a trusted person), be rest assured, the amount there won't exceed what i told u to use by maybe N500 or N1000 ... and i go dey monitor the app sef ... incase someone accidentally put money inside....

Not just laziness and carelessness but an elitist habit of Nigerians who employ domestic staff but use them for duties they weren't employed for. How will a gate man who is supposed to man the gate be going to buy table water even if he was given cash and not ATM.

Nigerians abuse their domestic staff by making them go through different job description that isn't part of the job they were employed for and the worst part is they aren't compensated for the extra job. This is actually very bad.

OP get him reported to the police, they will track him, from his phone number they can get his family, friends and frequent callers to get to him.

The only time to not blame a victim is when there's was no form of negligence or naivety on his part that led to the loss.

When you didn't give room for a thief to steal your things, how would he steal it?

The thief is not to be blamed. It's the owner that caused it in this case.

When he is found please show no mercy, make sure he refunds to the last kobo even if you have to sell the clothes on his back.

a "security guard" being sent on errands to buy water? was that part of his job description?.... what next? he would start washing your plates? clothes? underwear?

I don't even try it,if am giving my atm card to my boys to withdraw money I only make sure I transfer the exact amount they will need for the days running of my business only.

There are some security companies that doesn't recruit benue people
I blame the southerners
U will see all those rich men in Lagos preferring northerners over southerners to monitor their house
All these northerners have nothing to lose
A Yoruba person that has lived his whole life in Lagos will find it hard to steal because he can be easily traced
There is a estate in igbo efon
Na northerners full am
There is a building where a rich man keeps aluminum
Naso those security guards in that estate will be selling the aluminum including the security guard that is guarding the place
It was after one of the northerners left and a Yoruba guy was employed in one of the houses in the estate
He saw them in the night and videoed them
Then sent the video to the owner
Almost all of the northers doing security work in the estate were arrested

This same place this guy was taken as security guard,I'm sure he would have said. He doesn't want Yoruba man
