Admittedly , our judicial system has corruption issues, but at the end, they must be proven with evidence, so that we don't end up with a witchhunt that would get out of hand and hurt the innocent.

Back in 2009, there were four men who were falsely accused of being criminals. Before anyone could do anything, they were burnt to death for nothing.

Also, recently, a young French teacher was killed because he was falsely accused of insulting someone's religion.

The police is there because all it takes are a group of people who are 'seeking justice to attack' and burn down the chambers and by extension harm a lot of innocent people who had nothing to do with the case.

It is not panic.

(Note, I do not support either of the sides, and in fact if pushed, I may be more sympathetic to the defendant, because i too have heard stories...but we have a judicial system that is there, flawed as it is, to establish the proof of a crime)>
