Pastor Jerry Eze sp@rks online debate over wearing a face cap while praying

Pastor Jerry Eze, a Nigerian pastor and online streamer, caused a stir when he refused to remove his face cap while praying for someone.

The NSPPD praying machine had gone to the gym to exercise when he ran into one of his followers, who asked him to pray for him.

Pastor Jerry agreed, and he was videotaped during the activity. However, many people noticed that he wore his face cap throughout the prayer, which violated an unspoken rule in Christendom.

Men are not allowed to cover their heads while praying because it is considered sacrilege. So, while many chastised him for this, others questioned whether the rule was biblical in the first place.

Anyways, for those who are always quick to insult Christianity and pastors,I make BOLD to say that Christianity has done more for Nigerians than the government has ever done. For the noisemakers who will shout "pastors are eating our tithes and offerings", at least, the church is well catered for. There hasn't been power outage in Winners Ota since '99. Same with RCCG camp, MFM camp, Deeper life camp etc. Nigeria has gained independence since 1960, yet the power grid collapses every market day.


During COVID,the church gave many aids and palliatives to members and non members. My own church gave foodstuff to Muslims! The government hoarded palliatives while people starved in the streets.


Every Sunday, my church gives foodstuff to almost 50 members. We've been doing this since 2015. No government has tried this. Other churches feed hundreds of people weekly. The government's only interest is in hoarding monies for their generation unborn.


Lastly, people go to a davido concert and spend 100k on ticket. They go to clubs and spend 1m in a night. Nobody bats an eyelid. But when a church member decides to give HIS money to the church, nincompoops start jumping all over the place.

Mind your business,all ye church haters. The church has done way more for Nigeria than the government ever has.

Even top churches like MFM, RCCG, Winners Chapel, CAC that own Universities all have teaching hospitals in their universities meaning as much as prayer works, we cant rule out the efforts of medicines and doctors
