Russia has struck its biggest energy deal with India, with Rosneft to supply 500,000 barrels of oil a day to Indian refiner Reliance under a 10-year deal worth $13 billion a year, or 0.5 percent of global oil supply.

Rosneft has committed to supplying private Indian oil refiner Reliance with about half a million barrels of crude oil per day.

This will bring Russia about $13 billion annually at today's prices. Prices will be revised annually.
India has become the largest importer of Russian crude oil after the EU imposed sanctions on Russia over the war in Ukraine.

Russia and Iran need to act fast.

Russia and Iran rightly estimate that the odds are against the HTS crew.
Russia and Iran view them as a transitional power base.
It'll fracture, be defeated, or morph into something else.

As such, Russia is willing to take a backseat and preserve its bases while influencing future events in a clandestine manner.
Iran, however, will be publicly confrontational because of Iraq. But will use Russian outposts for its clandestine activities as well.

Whatever groups fighting in Syria, they'll need Russia to buy arms. Russia can arm all groups.

Because Turkey don't even have a standard tank or other heavy equipment to sell to them.

Iran is next. Iran has always been next. Iraq, Yemen, and Syria have been weakened. Jordan, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi are in the US government's pocket. Now, it's Iran's turn to experience it's destruction.

The only thing that can save Iran is nukes. And if Iran has not yet developed a nuke, it will have itself to blame. It can develop them and had all the time in the world to develop them, but decided to play dumb politics with the US.

Nukes are never used for negotiation. And if you will use them for such, you will have them and then negotiate. Not that you will negotiate about whether to have them.

Iran's saving grace is if it already has those nukes but is hiding them. That's the only way it will never be invaded. Anything short of that will definitely end in an invasion. It may not be under Trump, but some future US leader will do it.
