My thoughts exactly. But if it is tithe and offering now, they will be here in their hundreds hibernating on it.
Folks like you are very wicked. You refuse to see things as they are all so you can score some meaningless brownie points for these gods of men who care little for you and your kind. 🙄🙄🙄

The vast majority even inside of your RCCG church population live in poverty. That is a church that boasts of millions of members in Nigeria alone and a majority of its members, members who have over the years donated and paid tithes live in poverty. The same is true of all of the other churches in Nigeria including Deeper Life, etc. If your churches were to invest a great deal of the money it collected each month to provide a better life for its members alone, did you know that the 10000s of households— millions of Nigerians —would be living better off than they are today and that would have some seriously positive impact on even the Nigerian economy? undecided

Unfortunately, your churches would rather not do that and you, the gullible members, would rather post these nonsense pictures as a way to pull yourselves away from the despair that is your existence and faith. undecided

They have human sympathy and love for themselves. There are some denomination that pastor drives a car of 10million. Manages 2 million per year to maintain it. Church members dry like fish because of hard period. And yet still they milk them and.. infact my eyes have seen.

So called pentecostal church that preach more of holiness , go to thier denomination you find 80% of poor people

The same is observed within the catholic circles and also in other religions. undecided

■ check well, most of the things that were given out did not come from the church's pocket, rather they were also donated by some members for this purpose. I COME IN PEACE and I'm speaking of what I know not hearsay
You are not wrong as I have seen well this practice in RCCG churches. The members would bring clothing and food from their homes which would then be donated to the public in the name of the church. embarassed

Check out the video of an RCCG parish in Abuja sharing foodstuffs for Abuja residents.
This is just a tip of the iceberg. I always wonder why the media and netizens on social medial are always saying negative things against the church, most especially RCCG.

I know that RCCG sees giving to the poor as a mandate and there is a section of the church that monitors that. In fact, a parish's report is not complete if you have not reported your CSR report ( this is the report of what you have done for the poor in your church) in a month.

Anyway, I don drop the message and people were ger sense don read am.

Helping the society was never church responsibility in the first place.
Na government suppose create employment for these people so that dem no go dey beg for food and clothes again.

And the church role was to pressurize the government to do their job and not to take responsibility that belongs to the government.

How many the church fit do sef?

Em!, na wetin the church for do be that na.

Why the church go dey involve itself for wetin dem nor fit do in the first place, nor be juju be that?

Una well so? grin
E nor get how you go well with your mumu mentality 😁😁
Just imagine the rubbish mindset wey you get, so for your mind now na this people money the Church need as you dey talk about them cashing out.

If you like dey mumu yourself on top people money, cry and wail from now reach 600yrs people go still dey throw heavy financial support to the Church so which one you dey try badmouth this philanthropy work by RCCG?

Let's recall that RCCG is generally known as the Christian wing of the APC party
We should also remember that most of RCCG Pastors, an a very large chunk of their members supported the fraudulent enthronement of BAT, to the point that they almost always alluded the stolen mandate by BAT as divine WILL and orchestration by God to inadvertently make BAT the President
.
Let also n[left]
ot forget that BATs wife, the first Lady, is also a Redeem Pastor.
..
So from the foregoing we can conclude that the least APC govt, at least through the influence of Remi Tinubu should do is to abate the suffering of RCCG members who supported her husband's ambition ....either with some govt booties or looted cash.
.
I believe RCCG members are receiving their dividends of democracy through the food and clothes being shared for their support of BAT and Remi. The question is if those paltry items is all they deserve for their loyalty to this evil APC govt,
.
So in my opinion, I don't see the distribution of those items as anything worth blowing trumpet about, instead, we should cry about it, and criticize RCCG for not sharing same items to other church denomination who are also suffering from RCCGs notorious loyalty and support of APC govt, which has brought untoward suffering on all Christians denomination alikeWell, you saying RCCG is a wing of APC is your personal opinion which of course is false. Given the fact that many members of RCCG are card carrying members of other political parties, so you deduce from my statement that your opinion does not hold any water.

With regards to your statement that APC is giving money to RCCG and that Remi Tinubu is giving money to the Church....what a myopic statement.

The Lord has blessed RCCG so much with elites and great individuals who are doing well in their various businesses and industries, and many of them deem it fit to support the church with whatsoever project the church embark upon.

Maybe I need to enlighten you on some of the CSR activities of the church which too numerous to mention here, but I will mention a few.
1. Donation of dialysis machines at the ICU centres of six geo-political regions of Nigeria
2. Every Sunday Feeding across the 774 local govts of Nigeria.
3. Rehabilitation of drug addicts through CADAM
4. Rehabilitation of prostitutes through the wholistic outreach ministry of the church
5. Giving hope to out of school children through free education. A foundation of the church does this - African MISSIONS
6. And many more.

Good of RCCG.
But be reminded that even the Devil does good sometimes yet Christians don't see him as good. Why? Because what he takes is bigger than what he gives.
Re: Economic Hardship: RCCG Shares Clothes And Food To Abuja Residents (video) by MasterTeeUSA: 2:35am On Dec 13, 2024
This is commendable but the church can do more. I am one of those who criticize churches for forgetting what Jesus stood for...taking care of widows, orphans and less amongst us. I am a product of a Catholic scholarship to a University. Catholic Charities are trying in some parts of the world. Our own churches na to expand and build plane hangers and runways lol

I disagree with you sir.
I'm a full fledged member of RCCG but never for once vote APC.
RCCG is a Church and not a Political Party .
The Church welcome people from all walks of life irrespective of political affiliation, status in the society, ethnicity or tribe.
I've been a lover of PDP until Obi joined LP and my love for his stance in the new Nigerian Project cause me to pitch tent with LP.
The Church is a healing home just like the hospital where mad people, people with chronic sickness and diseases are received and cared for their recovery.

When una won get sense for this life, o African black man?

Can't you read this that this na just psychology rccg dey use to later cash out from the society?

. Ask yourself this simple questions :
1. Must they broadcast it?
2.Why selecting few community to give and neglect the rest?
3. How many of these cloths and food can cover every poor persons in Abuja communities

So, you can see that their interest is not to really help, but to publicise the church so that they can later cash out
Of course, you are very correct. There are poor church members with serious basic needs amongst them but I bet it with you they won't bother about those because giving them won't draw the much needed attention unlike when they give in public with whistles in their mouth.

One of the lessons taught in the bible says that when thou giveth with your left hand, do not let your right hand knoweth about it.

It goes further: that while it is not wrong to do this,it only indicates getting reward here on earth.

But apparently the preacher expects the best reward is the one we get from heaven.

If RCCG is giving out bailouts in public and not only stopping there but took along with them HD cameras for the purpose of covering the exercise and posting same for onward media publicity , it is clear they did it to get their reward on earth. It's simply a business venture.

Take care of the flock first before going outside. A lot of RCCG members are hungry but you are sharing food and clothes outside

I am doing fine though, I don't need these kind of CSR donations but there are a lot of members that needs it first to survive

Make clear you who be the cheap hate for the church.

The cheap hate for the church na ignorance and tradition according to Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

I will advice you, go and take time and study your bible. I mean meticulous study, then you will free yourself of ignorance
