Earlier this year, JJ Emejulu was arrested by a combined team of Nigerian Airforce and Nigerian Police, Enugu Airport Division on 14th January 2024 for breaking part of Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu with the help of thugs.

The notorious land grabber who parades himself as an architect was immediately charged to court and remanded in prison until he was reportedly released on bail around September 2024.

Today, 12th December 2024, he again attacked houses of residents in an estate close to the airport and was caught on tape saying that he will destroy the airport and claim the land it was built on. He came with over 100 thugs and masked policemen (see photos). It took a combined force of Nigerian Airforce and other military to halt him from demolishing people's properties today. His thugs were spotted looting and carting away people's properties and belongings while his bulldozer was demolishing houses.

He is known for threatening occupants, collecting millions from them each time he comes to the area with thugs and masked policemen.
Former governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi demolished JJ Emejulu's house after he (Emejulu) demolished Enugu Airport fence without court order in 2020.

Why is Emejulu not in jail?
Who gives him armed, masked policemen to carry out nefarious threats and demolishing of federal government and people's properties without a court order?
Why wasn't Emejulu arrested the first time IGP declared him wanted in 2020?

It is possible that some politicians in the state make use of his lawless services during elections. Hence, his excesses are being tolerated.

Craze dey worry you. If he owns the land let him bring papers. He's more interested in scamming landlords and collecting few millions and coming back after one year with bulldozer when he's broke to blackmail them for more money again.
