Do you mean you want to submit the pre approval request or are you still stuck there after submitting the pre approval request

I secured an MPOwer Loan for fall2024, however I didn't go ahead with the process.
I have an offer for Fall 2025, I'm concerned about the chances of visa approval with M power loan.

Please is it advisable to use MPOwer Loan as POF or use someone else's account for proof of funds.

Have you tried pushing for an assistantship from your department? You can achieve a lot before Fall 2025

Yes, I paid before I even paid the visa fee. I paid sevis fee in October and visa fees on the 1st of November

Please has anyone renewed F1 visa via drop box very recently, with this new AVITS format? how long did it take to get your passport back? what did the process entail? is it best to start the process now considering visa doesn't expire until next may? if you can kindly provide a walk through of what you had to do and how long you waited, that would be great! There's nothing wrong with using mpower loan and it won't make them deny you the visa. However you must ensure you have a good reason to proof to them that you can pay back the loan without working in the US. This has been the problem with most people. They are usually unable to give good reasons on how they would pay back the loan without working in the US.

Here are some good reasons

1. Good amount of money in your bank account that can settle your loan at least for the first year.

2. A good Work history

3. Demonstration of a strong economic family background, i.e father working in a reputable company and earning good amount or mother running a business with good monthly returns

4. You own a business that can support you while you are away for studies

5. The course you intend to study has a good economic value and would make you earn way more or help you climb the professional ladder when you return

In all these, you must be able to demonstrate to the vo that you understand the loan terms and how you intend paying back your loan without working in the US.

And when you did this your preapproval stage was approved?
After doing this, how long did it take to get approved? And can you please share the context of the email?

I meant adding an F2 dependent -for a minor, (adding my child in my application as the only option there is "adult". I was asking how to go about that, if any one has tried doing so.

Got to the embassy and did all the necessary processes like fingerprints and document checks.
Interview proper.

Me: Research Assistantship.
VO: ok(She begin to type)
VO: So why temple University
Me: Out of 3 University I applied to,I chose temple university based on their research out and the Research facility at school of Engineering which align perfectly when to my career

Me: Upon completion of this degree, I intend to return to my current work place here in Nigeria and take up a more senior lecturer at my current place of work, will also be working with stakeholders and industry on the best alternative and effective ways of removing water from waste water (lol,funny me,how can u remove water from waste water)

I enter pre approval stage on 21st of November and was approved 2nd of December
